Can anyone explin me the time signature? I mean the taalis and khaalis in 7 beats. It will be great help. TIA :)
This is not Rupak. Strictly speaking, it's Teevra, rendered in an uncharacteristically slow tempo.
not so uncharacteristically... tivra taala vilambita laya in certain dhrupada gharanas can be even slower than this. For vilambit tivra - this is pretty run of the mill speed.
