Thank you for this! I was just looking for videos to send a client so she can get up and running in WP. She doesn't need to worry about the site editor, just the post/page editor first off. You are the best at these pracitical, how to actually USE the software and I'm so glad to see you doing some updated videos on this! I'll send it off to her now.

One of my tips and tricks that I use all the time is renaming blocks. That way I don’t have a bunch of groups all named “group”. I’ll have “tennis group”, “pickleball group “, etc. Renaming works with rows and stacks too (which are groups.) I think it works for columns too. This saves me a bunch of time not having to figure out which of the same-name item I want. Another helpful video, Jamie. Thanks for making these!

I am actually looking for a shortcut to rename blocks. Because, when I use the 3-dot menu to do it I have to mouse waaaay down to get to the respective function. Something like command + R would come in handy..

Man I really should get used to the command palette, first as a way to navigate less with the mouse, and second because now I wonder what commands are in the command palette that aren't anywhere else in the UI.
Also keyboard shortcuts. Haven't quite gotten used to a lot of them.

First time I click on that icon (while watching the video), it amazed me on how sloppy everything is (container, paragraph, paragraph, shortcode). Time for some cleanup!

WordPress has gotten sooo freaking confusing. I've never understood the blocks, I liked it before they started using the blocks. It wasn't broke but they tried to fix it and made it really complicated, in my opinion. I would rather use WordPress than any other site builder bc of the WordPress community that's right there in the app and it's a very supportive community. So I press on and it makes little sense to me so I keep putting off my blog bc I just can't get it right. I get nothing out of videos trying to explain something about technology because of my ADHD so that won't work and me trying to figure it out in my own has only resulted in me making multiple sites and I didn't even know it until much later on.
I am a seasoned blog writer but feel like I'm in kindergarten when it has to do with anything WordPress 🙃🙃🙃 Anyone have any tips that could possibly help me? Had anyone else ever felt this way about WordPress or am I the only one with a mental block when it comes to WordPress?
