This is really cool. I modify denim vests into battle jackets with a ton of hand stitching patches and punching studs, this is a cool way to be more creative with my work
Nicely done. I just ruined a large mat for my fly tying workbench by accidently burning my brand in the wrong place. Careless and shameful, I know but I was tired, etc etc. Instead of throwing it away, now I'm thinking I'll cover it up with a nice patch! Thanks.
Would it be better to use a faux leather for this application because then someone can put it on something that can be washed? If so, what might be a good material to use?
I'm a newbie so I can't help you out there. Commenting to see if someone who knows the answer will chime in. I've lined everything since I've started. Either with pig skin or some fake leather upholstery stuff that I bought from Walmart. What do you finish you leather with? I use Atom Wax If it's an oil then maybe the dye is "bleeding" out with the oil.
Love the videos. I value them for the knowledge they are providing me in my new hobby. However, if you just made it, it's not vintage. Let us be as thoughtful in description, as we are in creation. Nostalgic? Sure. Vintage styled? Definitely. Vintage? Negatory.
@@bbrachman I looked at the weaver tool list too and never saw them. However I think I spied weaver on them at one point in the video. Hopefully corter leather can give us some info 😁😁😁
You intentionally scribed in a line 1/4" from the edge in order to center your 2 "peace-s" of leather perfectly and STILL you fudged it!!! 😳 I'm disappointed.

The video that included the donut fob was stellar. That was a really neat patch/fob.
Great work. Liked your presentation.

There are no such thing as mistakes! Only happy accidents.. 😊
@@Handles-R-Lame Ah, yes exactly. Friend of mine refers to these moments as OTE’s … Opportunities To Excel.
Awesome idea!!! ✌
Love these, thanks for the video!
I really appreciate your videos, thank you
definitely picking up some Bob Ross vibes when you were sanding the curves.
I've been making patches on my laser engraver... I might have to try this technique next. Great video.
Thanks. Love them.
Hi, amazing project, thank you!
These would be great as tags like the sprinkle donut you made in another video!
These are cool
Now I have visions of “Pocket in!” … “Pocket out!” floating through my head … as a young leather grasshopper. 🤦♂️🤦♂️😂😂😂
А так гарно супер !
Beautiful! Do you sell these?
Дуже гарна ідея.

Sup dude love the idea!
Thank you for the video
Parabéns pelo seu trabalho deferente tamos juntos meu amigo deus no controle de tudo 🙏🤝
Loved the video , What size and what kind of pricking irons did you use for this video?
May be a daft question but if i used Chrome Tanned leather (I have lots of scraps to use up) would that then make the patch machine washable?
How do you keep the fuzzy side from transferring dye?

А якби ви зробили для ключів Volkswagen логотип ?
These are awesome! What thicknesses of leather did you use for these?
He said 5oz in the video I believe.
Як причіпити ключ до цього ?
💪🏼

Did I spy some new weaver punching chisels in this video? Looks like they have a longer handle and finer prongs!?!?
I looked at the Weaver Tool List and these were not included. The handles look beefier than the normal stitching irons. Wonder what 'brand' they are.

It’s the only tools from the video I’m looking for and cant find them.
:D

Sew a patch to a wallet.
Ironic making a piece sign from a murdered animal. Just joking, good video.
