It's the same chord progression (from the tonic to a fourth, like C to F, or in this case, A to D) - also in "Lady Madonna," "Baby Now That I've Found You," "For What It's Worth," and many others. But yes, it does sound quite a bit like it.
His late night theme is untouched. Even better than Carson’s. Yeah I said it. NBC late night with Conan O’Brien as a theme song, and show entirely, will stand the test of time in my opinion. I also loved his show and freedom on tbs. This theme was decent but not on the same level as his late night theme.
@@L1KECLOCKWORK Conan could have used his old Late Night/Tonight Show theme, but instead he decided to compose the new one with Jimmy Vivino when they moved to TBS.
FOREVER I'VE WATCHED THIS AND KNEW THE SONG SOUNDED FAMILIAR... then I listened to Lady Madonna for the millionth time and it hit me!!! Hahahaha. Love it and Conan :3
Reasons god does not exist: WB / TBS / Max / Team Coco have not made the series of Conan available to stream. It sickens me that talk shows are erased from existence after they air...
This sound a lot like; The Beatles song "Lady Madonna" from 1968, Etta James song "Tell Mama" also from 1968 and The Pretenders song "Louie Louie" from 1981...
COMING TO YOU FROM THE WARNER BROTHERS STUDIO, ITS THE LATE SHOW WITH CONAN O BRIAN! TONIGHTS GUESTS ARE, JIMMY FALLON, MUSICAL GUEST ARIANA GRANDE, AND JOHN CENA! PLUS MAX WEINBERG AND THE MAX WEINBERG 7! AND NOW, HERES YOUR HOST, CONAAAN O BRIIIAAAN!
AND NOW, HERE HE IS... CONAAAAAAAN O'BRIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEN
Absolutely my favorite talk show theme.
Conan is my favourite talkshow
I love it especially if u go as the live audience member even better ! :)
I saw him last month. It was the episode "The Devil Drives Stick." It was the most amazing thing I've ever seen.
The drums are so groovy!
im thinking andy going to say ITS CONAN! all the time... :D

Nowhere as good as his Tonight theme. His Tonight theme's as good as Johnny Carson's. Too bad it only had a 7 month tenure.

This song reminds me od Lady Madonna by the Beatles also
I just listened to Lady Madonna and realized how similar it sounds. Same chord progression. Different key
Great theme
I want sheet music for it. I want my combo an I to play this
@Brkniess No, it was written by Conan and the Guitarist Jimmy Vivino. Weird Al simply wrote lyrics on top.
I really love the picture of his (Logo) hair, any idea what software i could use to make my very own?
I love this song. ^^

Runaway Five!
No, he actually has a song titled "Space Cowboy".
@THERADICALEX you notice too hah? The theme sounds familar towards TMNT: Flash Forward.
Hey, this sounds like a song off the Pretenders 2 album, called "Louie Louie". Look it up. Did Conan's band steal that song ?
rorrante You're right, it sound so similar!
The bass line is identical!
The other theme was better, but I grew into this one, so I don't mind anymore.
MonkaS
Can't find it on Spotify. Grrrrrr Anyone found it there before??
Sounds like TMNT flash forward
This sound a lot like;
The Beatles song "Lady Madonna" from 1968, Etta James song "Tell Mama" also from 1968 and The Pretenders song "Louie Louie" from 1981...

+TheJarodBlackShow Can I get that as well?
This theme is hot almost similar to The Tonight Show theme with Conan
Pretty woman - Roy Orbison
Sounds a lot like "In the Midnight Hour" >_>
I really liked the episode Dead Men Don't Wear Spanx!
Here it is on the first show. Much better live with the crowd, Andy's intro and Conan's antics for sure.

The Eagles - The Greeks Don't Want No Freaks
does this use the chromatic scale?
It's definitely Etta James-Hey Mama.
Everybody claiming Beatles, but this is clearly a take off of Tell Mama by Etta James.
Marvel Vs Capcom 2: New Age Of Heroes.
i like the part wear it said conan
Try orchestrating this with your head.

You mean "The Joker"? lol fail

nooooooo
This is a rip off of Steve Miller Band's "Space Cowboy."
still think this song was a poor choice for the show. that main rhythm is horrid
