"Lord of the Flies" by William Golding: A thought-provoking novel about a group of British schoolboys stranded on a deserted island after a plane crash. Initially, they attempt to govern themselves with innocence and optimism, but as time passes, their behavior and morals deteriorate, revealing the darker aspects of human nature. The novel explores themes of savagery, civilization, power struggles, and the effects of isolation.
