Great video, love your style, you're a great RUclipsr. I own Shams Oud, Vaadhoo, Winter Palace, African, Irish, Italian Leather. I own a sample of Quartier Latin and I totally agree with you.
I have purchased a couple of Memo Paris perfumes both from eBay and at Saks in the past few years. The packaging is exactly the same (not a simple feat to replicate the packaging mind you, as they are expensive, unique, and delicate). The scents wear exactly the same, sillage, projection, and performance, but you do pay considerably less. If there is an underground movement that can replicate everything so close to the original that after 5 years of wearing them side by side I can't tell the difference, I'd say the rest may simply be a psychological trick we may be playing on our own minds.
you are right, it is possible to get lost in the paranoia of fakes. I'm to this day not sure, if it is or isn't, I just decided that I won't try to sell to anyone, and either use it up or gift it, if a friend wants this particular bottle..
Awesome video. I love Lalibela. I recently tried a sample of African Leather and now wants to add that to my collection.

@@MariaMeliora I think they are mostly, yep! I’m guessing this has to do with where the HQ is, plus the exchange rates they choose to use, because the prices don’t tend to fluctuate with the fluctuations of the currencies. I’ve just had a look at my local Apple store pricing vs the States, and it’s seriously depressing. The basic model of the 16 inch MacBook Pro is $2,399. In Poland, it’s 11,999 PLN, which (using Google’s currency exchange rate) is $3,261. A whopping difference of over 850 bucks 🤮 In the UK, it’s $3,200 (converting GBP to USD). That’s why many Europeans buy electronics when they’re in the US...
Also, another advantage you guys have is you can return opened cosmetics (to stores like Sephora, etc.). Not the case over here (unless something has changed, but I doubt it). You can only return unopened items.

Loved your video, thanks for sharing your experience! :) I have a Memo obsession that may have gotten out of hand somewhere. Jannat is actually one of my favorites so far, because it seems really fresh and citrusy while not being brand or boring. Unfortunately, my skin does gobble it up and I don't smell it after few hours. But it is still perfect for the end of spring and summer.
People buy empty bottles and refill them, thats why the fakes look so good sometimes. They're real bottles with God knows what inside. Thanks for the review!
Hi just stumbled on to your channel and checked out quite the few of your vids kinda caught up to date now,and I tip my hat to you, nice job I’m now a fan.I just have African leather but like the note breakdown of Russian leather here I go again another house to delve into jeez I really need to join a fragrance anonymous group to help with my addiction (is there such a group Hmm?)and yes cheaper here in Europe but ya have to look for deals that said I’ve paid a hell of a lot more for indie stuff in much smaller ml sizes so yeah what to do lol happy holidays and catch ya again Lynch out 🇮🇪🙏🙏
