    Thanks for the video. The council where I am is ridiculous. We have very few allotments and no one properly manages allocation. Been on the waiting list for 2 years (still positioned as fifty something on the list) and yet there is allotments sitting abandoned.

      Thanks for watching, Mark! Very sad to hear about your situation. We do hope you manage to get a plot soon. Although the turn around of plots can be fairly quick at our site, we’ve heard that others in the county are much slower. Our council is also implementing a rent increase which means many tenants will be paying more than double for their allotments soon. All the best 🙂

    With your strawberry you need spacing 18 inch plus either way plus don't for get once the runners start to show keep cutting them back otherwise it will get infested also every two to three years the runners take new plant and replace the old ones with new because after two years they won't produce as much fruit and mulch around the base of each plant with stay helps with moisture and helps to keep slugs and snails scoffing the fruits also use water pipe or a wood frame and cover with netting to keep birds at bay because they love the fruits all the best.😊
