Late August at the earliest due to the falcon 9 currently being grounded. It's going to mid-august at the earliest before Polaris Dawn happens, crew-9 may end up being delayed tillate august or even September.
In discussing a thruster test they will conduct soon, he said “We were not aware other vehicles did this test”…. Dude….Do you also work for the Secret Service on the side?
#1 if you can't be certain that it is as safe to return the crew on starliner with the same certainty of safety as a crew dragon return, is it not a responsibility to divert the crew.
If I was stranded up there like this, though I'd enjoy the unplanned stay, I'd flat out refuse to return on that Starliner death trap. Would be the end of my career, certainly...but at least I'd still be alive. Not ready to call it a life just yet.
Boeing used to be a highly regarded and preeminent Aviation/Space Rocket Launch Company. If Boeing Starliner burns up upon reentry, Boeing will be out of the Space Business forever.
You can be sure that you got the data, but you can’t be sure you can get the information you needed from the data until it is analyzed. May be they are talking about two different things.
Watch how nervous they are while they talk. It does not give me confidence. One guy keeps rubbing his and biting his lip. The other keeps moving like he needs a bathroom break. He rocks side to side while talking. He fingers are probably crossed under the table.
NASA just can’t say the Boeing tincan is a piece of crap. Why the delay. They’ve had plenty of time to discover the issue and fix. Wasn’t this thing supposed to to be flight ready. Lies, lies lies…I would refuse to fly back on that craper if I was up there. It’s not a pizza.
Craft is dangerous and humans should not bring it home...Solution, Have Tesla send a Tesla-bot sent up to bring the Boeing craft down. Have Space X bring the crew home. Problem solved without endangering the ISS or crewpersons. Is this what we want?
Hydrazine/NTO thrusters have been used since the 1960s... did Aerojet loose the manual from the Apollo days on how to build these thrusters?
New generation of graduates like to ignore past lessons because they know more🤣
Thanks for the update!
Time to call SpaceX for a ride. Who wants to drop back into the atmosphere in a busted return capsule
Enough studying. Just return.
I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again, I would rather ride cargo dragon in a lawnchair, then ride on that basket case Starliner.
the money needs to be clawed back from this boondoggle
They will kill them before they admit they’re wrong !!
Love your comment. If it’s Boeing I’m not going. They need to give the Tax payers back the money they wasted.
I don't have time to watch this, how long until they just send a Crew Dragon for the astronauts and let the damn thing land in the Pacific?

@Boxersteavee well now falcon 9 is not grounded the schedule for next 2 flights are updated with date and time on the website.

Just an FYI - they don't land in the Pacific....they land at the White Sands Missile Range.
@@quarlescj I am strongly suggesting they will dispose of the starliner at sea.
What did the Space shuttle teach US ??? SEALS SEALS SEALS. WTF.🤯
Boeing Doomliner is what they should rename it too.
I fear come Sept.
Good one 😂👍
They should have done all this testing before flight !

Thumbs Down; can’t do that comparison since crew dragon has been flying for years; longer if considering cargo.
Crew dragon is crew. Not csrgo @@dphuntsman
What is the thruster technology on Soyouz and Dragon ?

How does personal intimacy work on the ISS?
The same old way, but cleanups are more messy.

why are we focused on Butch and sunny? how will the others get down?
The others have a premium flight
SpaceX calls it data. Boeing calls it ”information”. Even using different terminology, beats me why.

degraded seals , awesome. Great data points. SHITS failing apart. And he's thrilled to note it in a book.
Is NASA’s DEI Dept. sending up a trans ⚧️ team to determine if the capsule was misgendered?
We are here to be political protectors of our largest military contractor! PERIOD!

No, this is- still- an official Flight Test, as per contract. They’re being pretty transparent here. - Dave Huntsman
Through that time, other parts are degrading, seals getting brittle, valves get stuck etc.
1 out of 300 green the rest wishy washy.

CLAWBACK THE MONEY FOR THIS BOONDOGGLE. ENOUGH FLIGHTS.
It’s a Flight Test, & it’s not done yet. Calm yourself.
