My car has oem heads up and I'm just fitting an android screen but it does have the socket for the HUD plug. Can you just clarify your wiring? you spliced into K-Can, anywhere specific? And the other 2, any ground and the power was that ignition 5V or 12V?

Yeah, it’s definitely not necessary. I did the swap, because I was pulling the dash regardless to paint.

I didn’t replace any ducting. I am using the ductwork that was already installed.

I don’t think I will be much help. I wasn’t aware the Android Headunit had a port for the HUD display.

Where to plug headup display boton
I cut a little hole and placed the Heads Up Display switch in the factory Drivers assistance location to the left of the steering wheel.
