- Actor Kenneth Cranham discusses his experience of playing Sloane in the 1975 version of Joe Orton's Entertaining Mr Sloane, the play also starred Beryl Reid and Harry H. Corbett.
Kenneth was interviewed while attending the University of Leicester 50th Anniversary celebrations of Entertaining Mr Sloane organised by Dr Emma Parker of the School of English.

A gem of a movie with a fantastic cast 1970. It did Ortons play justice. Seeing Harry Andrews, who always played straight military types, squeaking about in his ostententatious car with no shocks, wonderful! Beryl Reid was always a joy.
"Peter Mc enery"..is and always will be "Mr Sloane"

Agreed. Her "mice in the knickers" character was, of course Monica, not Beryl.
Wonder what happened to those photos...
He sounds like Mr. Sloan from the movie "Wanted"
