Hi thanks very much for the video, however i just didn't get it where you said that if present that Cl ion is effecting the H ion therefore the porosity as well. How? As you well said, Neutron log is looking for the H ion, therefore what has Cl ion to do with or can effect the H ion? If you could explain in detail that would be great. Thanks a lot.
I found an answer for this.
Cl ion is a very good Neutron absorber and it "mimics" as a hydrogen atom and hence it can cause an increase in HI(hydrogen index) and therefore porosity also.
Similarly Boron is also an extremely good Neutron absorber and it's presence can affect the Neutron Porosity readings.
