well i got almost all of their albums. I must say that i rarely dislike any of their songs on their albums. For an example their album Minor Earth Major Sky, i only disliked "barely hanging on" but even this song is still listenable to me eventhough i find it a weak song but still listenable sumtimes hehe. another example their album "memorial beach" i only disliked "between your mama and yourself" and even this one is still listenable, so yes they rarely have a song that is bad

This song is sad in so many ways because it represents the end of an era for people of my generation who have matured through our twenties, thirties, forties and now into our fifties listening to this band's melodious and often poignant music. When we watch this video, with its flash backs to the early days of A-ha, with the three guys looking so obviously emotional as they record it, we too are transported back to our youth, to a time that is gone forever.
He, Morten Harket, and A-ha as a whole, do their music and style in a way that they have the whole world fell in love with them. For a long time. And there is nothing you can do about it. It's in the heart and it stays. What can I say to that? It is a tremendous joy to live in one time with them! A-ha, please, keep making your music, we are here to listen and to pronounce once again - YOU ARE FANTASTIC!!!

AMAZING! My favorite band in the whole world. Have been a fan since 1985 when I heard Take on Me on the radio. I was fascinated by them then, and am still fascinated in 2020. They are the soundtrack of my life. Have seen them twice in concert. Amazing trio.
Mine too, thier sound is very emotive, it seems to resonate deeply, they have been an obsession when I was younger, now I'm married with children and still like thier music, it almost centres me back to being me, but also I feel a sense of sadness almost unrequited love🌹
The cool thing of this video besides the great tune, is the fact that the director of the vid is Steve Barron, who did their first vid 'Take on me'. For that reason, I believe A-ha is so unique in dedicating this final vid the way they did. I thank the three of them (Morten, Mags & Päl) for sharing with us the best music we've ever heard. I remember being criticised for being an a-ha fan at school in the 1980s, because it was so much cooler to like Simple Minds or Depeche Mode (who I also liked but not as much) yet over the years A-Ha have matured like a fine wine and I find myself to be just as pleasantly surprised by their talent today as I did over 30 years ago. Man...has it been that long?
Well said. Ditto...saw them once in Shepton Mallet...sneaked around the rear of the venue with my little sister and found Morten, Mags and Pal rehearsing.....we fell silent...what a moment when Morten turned around and saw us....smiled and left us to our moment. A beautiful memory.

Yes, their emotion is so obvious. I'm sure they must have had a a few little disagreements and spats along the way, but few and far between; otherwise this parting would not be so emotional. They were loyal, true friends in the best sense of the word, and that's why this is so hard. What a gift they have given us over the years with their beautiful music.
This video contains all the sadness that is getting old. The eyes full of life, joy and dreams that they had in the 80s, are now gone. Same in our eyes. Getting old is a big rip off.

Even though this turned out not to be the band's last hurrah, listening to it now 11 years on, I still get a little sad when I hear it. Plus that bit in the video where Morten stops singing and everyone looks at each other before they hug... there's something in my eye! Such a great song.
Been following A-HA since 1985, been to well over 20 + concerts and I never, ever get tired of listening to their music. A massive band that in my opinion is massively underrated and unappreciated. Here's hoping for a World Tour and possibly a new album. (Fingers crossed)

This video contains all the sadness that is getting old. The eyes full of life, joy and dreams that they had in the 80s, are now gone. Same in our eyes. Getting old is a big rip off.
I simply adore A-ha & have done since day one as a teenager at school. Now aged fifty I still love their music, never fails to please . Long may A-ha continue ❤

Even though this turned out not to be the band's last hurrah, listening to it now 11 years on, I still get a little sad when I hear it. Plus that bit in the video where Morten stops singing and everyone looks at each other before they hug... there's something in my eye! Such a great song.

Been following A-HA since 1985, been to well over 20 + concerts and I never, ever get tired of listening to their music. A massive band that in my opinion is massively underrated and unappreciated. Here's hoping for a World Tour and possibly a new album. (Fingers crossed)
