I've lasered over 100 powder coated tumblers with my M1 + the rotary but honestly never understood where exactly to move the yellow line! This makes perfect sense and was really helpful, thank you for sharing!
Thank You for sharing your knowledge. I just got my M1 and it's kind of intimidating 🥴. I just subscribe to your channel to continue learning from You.
Make a grid pattern by making boxes set to different speed and power. If you are having any issues you can download ready made ones in the Xtool community.

Thank you I'm new to this and was struggling with stainless steel. Let alone the speed rated. You answered a bunch of questions. Appreciate it.
Thank you SOOOOO much for this video Mark!
My pleasure!

I just cannot get my xtool to laser on any silver material. I tried galvanised
Can you cut any metal with the tool and if you can how
No, you can't cut metal with a Diode or CO2 laser. For metal cutting you would need a Fiber laser.
How did you clean the paint off after The engraving? I wish we could have seen that process as well....
I used acetone solvent, it takes it off really easily. For some types of paint, gasoline will also work.
How long did you let the paint dry between coats?
How soon did you engrave after the last coat?
I let the paint dry for about 15 minutes then re-coated. I waited until the "wet spots" were dry.

Hopefully you can can help me out friend.. I'm new to the xtool but for some reason my image is coming out backwards and I have no idea why
It sound like you need to flip or mirror your image in XCS first. Hope that helps.
