We're starting to see scenes where Jecka distances herself from Nicole. She does better than Nicole in classes despite being plenty irresponsible, and seems to plan for college even though that's not even remotely on Nicole's radar. While she's still no angel, she's beginning to grow a spine against Nicole's perfect apathy, like when she presses Nicole her lack of grief if Nicole's mom dies, or when Nicole gets jail for dealing drugs. In this ending, she notes Nicole was simply being abusive because she enjoyed it, and realizes with disgust that she was only complacent with it before because it was directed towards men (somewhat justified because every guy in the story is actually shown to be a monster). So she leaves. It's hard to create a serious moral takeaway when the dialogue is absurdly dark gallows humor. But I think we're starting to see that Nicole isn't just the way she is because of her environment, though that's played a big role. She outright blames her misfortunes on her circumstances in spite of her own decision making in the drug ending. A lot of Nicole's misery is fundamentally because of her own decisions. She ruins other peoples' lives sometimes for nothing, sometimes for fun. Every decision in the game is justified not because people are important to her, but because of the effects they'll have on herself. Given that this is Nicole's story as told by her, we're definitely not getting the whole picture. It's ultimately not surprising that Jecka weirdly refused to offer her a place to stay in the homeless path, or that the only people in her life seem to be terrible people - you have to imagine that anyone who was genuinely nice had long ago been scared off. The first game had more serious endings where Nicole was a victim - the various self harm ends, getting bullied, getting assaulted, etc. In the second game, more of the somber endings are ones where Nicole is emphatically the guilty party. Although sometimes I often understand and maybe even sympathize with Nicole, an ending like this reminded me that she is no way a person you should relate nor look up to. With most other endings within 09 and the Re Up, you can kind of find a justification on why you shouldn’t feel bad for her victims, whether they be cheaters, white supremacists, perverts, you name it. But an ending like this reminds the player that despite how cruel Nicole’s world is, she is equally as capable of that kind of cruelty, even possibly more. Ari poured her head and heart for her, and all Nicole gave her back was malice and manipulation. Belittling her, making her a pet, not caring about the fact that even if it was obvious she was gay, a first time experience like hers could make or break her experiences with relationships, and Nicole just didn’t give a single shit about her feelings. Theoretically, this could be the worst ending of the entire series, because it really shows that somewhere deep down, Nicole might actually be conscious about her actions, but is too self centered to even realize what she’s done, and who she's really hurt, consequences be damned. A side note as well, it’s also why the comparisons to Postal (among others) to me, at least, are really surface level and kind of egregious. Postal’s whole central fantasy is about being a terrible person and getting away with it, and while that fantasy is certainly present in Class of 09, it’s brought back to earth by the level of consequences Nicole faces, whether it is becoming a white supremacist, selling drugs to pregnant women, or in this case, being an abuser. You can get Nicole, just don’t look up to her, please.
call it victim blaming or whatever but ari needed therapy more than anything, judging by the codependency issues and the whole “telling someone you’ll cut if they don’t want to be in a relationship with you” thing. nicole’s “would you rather be alone or be with someone filled with red flags” speech at the end goes both ways here. at least with being alone the only one you subject to yourself is yourself. nobody else can wander in and fuck it up

@@scottscott8123 Lol no. Ari getting high isn't anything new. But definitely not to the point of her being straight and abusing drugs. She's still willing to bang Nicole and pay for lesbian sex.
She never became a white supremacist.
Ari deserves sm better 😭 if Nicole doesn't want her ill take her
I just want to give Ari a hug, she’s going through hell in the first half, like damn
i have no idea what this is but HOLY SHIT THIS IS HILARIOUS HWHAH
edit: i think i'm being abused but this is still funny as hell
THE EDIT????? HELLO ARE YOU OKAY
Uh, wait buddy you good?
update: the abuse is definitely mutual but i think we're both getting out of the situation gradually.@@morxsine
“Uhh Obama might be president soon, who’s worried about being gay anymore” HOW DID HUNTER OUT OF ALL PEOPLE PREDICT THE FUTURE
cuz this game came out in like 2023 :/
can u do one where nicole's mom calls the principal sexy 😭
I think that might’ve been in the su*c*de ending in the original version of the game if I remember correctly
Old women yuri
call it victim blaming or whatever but ari needed therapy more than anything, judging by the codependency issues and the whole “telling someone you’ll cut if they don’t want to be in a relationship with you” thing. nicole’s “would you rather be alone or be with someone filled with red flags” speech at the end goes both ways here.
at least with being alone the only one you subject to yourself is yourself. nobody else can wander in and fuck it up
Obligatory reminder that Ari is still gay for Nicole and offered to be friends with benefits after this. She wasn't really bullied into being straight at all. What is it with these videos and never showing the Text Messages you get at the end?
well the point is that she’s repressing that again, she only offered to be fwb because she started abusing drugs and was high
@@scottscott8123 Lol no. Ari getting high isn't anything new. Pretty much every teenage girl in Class of 09 (aside from Karen and probably Megan) were already popping pills and getting high on some shit. Did you forget Ari getting high on Whip-Its with Nicole before making out during the mall date?
Ari was traumatized from dating Nicole, sure. But definitely not to the point of her being straight and abusing drugs. She's still willing to bang Nicole and pay for lesbian sex. Ari is just canonically a masochist and enjoys being abused by Nicole. Its just that in this route, she hasn't arrived at that revelation yet until after the break up.
@@cybrid37she started doing whip its after Nicole introduce her to it, although she may have already been doing drugs
@@dondog3123 She already has. Whip-Its were new to her, but Ari definitely has gotten high from other stuff before. Girl wasn't THAT innocent before she met Nicole.
@@cybrid37plus she won't take Nicole's rejecting lightly (tbf, Nicole's excuse was petty)
ari is so real
u get it
Gotta love the title. (Make sure we clarify that it happened in a video game)
ari's a psych major in the making lol
"straight AGAIN" I CANT
nicole: men are abusive
also nicole
maybe because every man she's interacted with was abusive or just terrible
people dont realize that this show makes fun of everyone...including them
Exactly it's kind of like south park but more tolerable and for white girls
this isn't toxic yuri anymore its poisonous yuri
Elwphant's foot levels of toxic
I don't know how I ended up at your channel, but this is great!
im a gay guy who dated girls for the most part of my life. right now im crushing on a guy and its a nightmare
Y’all hitting it up yet?
@JustSomeNamekian yeah we are dating now (but we are long distance bc its illegal to be gay where i live)
@@DaveA.L-b1f internet footprint bro, dont die for no reason
7:43 I kinda cringed inside
if im being honest i wouldve paid to see ari be the abuser instead of nicole.
nahh she's just a doggy
I got bullied into being straight. except I never actually changed sexualities, just labels. yeah, I was attracted to girls in 2022. yeah, I was HEAVILY attracted to a boy in 2023 and still am. but I’m also simping for a girl that reminds me of a boy I used to like…so maybe I’m not as straight as I think
Well yeah, you don't *become* one way or another, you just *are* whether one wants to identify as such.
Sounds like you are gay with some extra clauses.
i mean being bi still works
@@secktuss9610 yeah but i still recovering from a christian school
@@my.fav.no..is.12.point.9if you need help to get *bi* those feelings, I might be the guy to help(…shit this joke sucks)
Who wrote this? They actually know what they are writing about lmao
This game is so fucked up 😂
I feel like if Nicole was irl i feel like she would listen to xaviersobased or yhap
She listens to blink 182
LMFAO I DID NOT EXPECT TO SEE XAV AND YHAP MENTIONED IN THESE COMMENTS
1:05 iconic they’re talking abt that when Nicole has that shirt on
this route got me genuinely angry with Nicole. I am fine with her being edgy but the way she just takes advantage of Ari because she thinks there is nothing better to do has me so pissed.
From what I hear, that is the point. They’re supposed to be unlikeable, to dissillusion yourself and stop putting hot girls on pedestals, I think.
ari just like me fr (I can’t stand my ground😘😘😘)
same 😞✊
me too...
god bless you
Real!! (I'm a people pleaser)
all of you are adorable and pathetic . i collect you
I love your channel just because the way you name videos make me laugh so much
4:13 As a dude from middle east I don't know how to feel abt that💀
As Hunter put it: "Oh..."
Womp womp
13:01 i love the sfx for moments of trama induced
4:48 why is there always a line against Pakistan in this game
As a pakistani i love it
@AW.7475 because weeb
Scared Straight taken too seriously 💀
this shit got real dark
16:07 lowkey fax😂 one more bad relationship with a girl and im switching to sword fighting
sad sause lesbians are like super cool i wish we invented them earlier so there were more in 2009
ROFL
My ROFLCOPTER activated reading that.
and yet like 70% of their relationships contain domestic abuse
@@insanecheapo195 Oh, that escalated in the worst way possible.
@@spl8267 yeah and the best part is gay relationships have the lowest rates.
the funniest thing about this ending is that nicole and ari could've been an OK couple had nicole been physically abusive instead of emotionally abusive
it would’ve been ok if they weren’t abusive in the first place
@@veethesillymonkeyx3 boring...
Im so confused, I love this series so much, is this a game or just a youtube series or sumn?
I was wondering the same and found out it’s a steam game
6 months late but its class of 09, theres 2 games and a new one coming later this year
@Ladisepic thanks for the info, I found out about this game almost after I posted my original comment though lol.
It's now one of my favorite games ever, funniest thing I've ever seen

Caused me physical pain holy shit 😭
Nicole is such a iconic character bro and to think there are people out there like that
My favorite part about this ending is just how much it showcases Nicole's inability to empathise with others, and how it legitimately is a disability to the detriment of her life despite how much it protects her in the same way
Like in the intro you hear the word *_"sociopath"_* and you just don't clock in exactly what that means until this ending
Well this and the mall cop scene, but this ending showcases it way better and is one of my favorite
3:05 BRO I CAANT IM CLOSING THIS VIDEO THATS SO STUPID "uhm, by phe way i stawted a youtube chfennel, you guys fwanna thee it?🤓" out of nowhere Aaaarrghhh
"i love you!" "bye."

i love how jecka defended her.character with the best personality
this game is hilarious with its shock factor
best part 4:05 LMAO
7:44 LMFAO
Nah cuz like, why does Nicole and (whatever the red hair girls name was kinda remind me of the Makima and Denji dynamic😨😨
Humorously, the parallel ending is a straight girl being bullied into being gay.
My last girlfriend was literally like Nicole
Hey man. Saw your description I hope you're doing alright
Dollar store foundation im dead😂😂😂
fell out my chair and had a seizure trying to hold back a laugh
My ex gf did the same lmao except so much so that I have no attraction to women I don’t think I did in the first place honestly
17:11
Oh, because that's *so* much better..
Side Note, unless I'm playing into some kind of bit of trauma pissing contest with a fictional caricature of the sociopathic mean girl, I wouldn't put my personal life and failure to function on broadcast.
yo uhh i never thought about it til now but my ex was kinda like this but also not she whould let me be touchy but then get super defensive she whould like not care if anything happened to me by other people eve one time fully ignoring me she would get sucicidal if i had talked about my depression with her and i whould always have to take care of her when she got high. then she broke up with me dam..
4:25 Nicole literally did nothing, Hunter did all the work (and did it beautifully)
2:21 my boy okarun
7:49 jecka predict my line here, trully a what the fuck moment
Yeah it's really a mystery for victim's to understand the thoughts of the abuser. I've been in both roles.
This deserves a movie
Props to Jecka defending against Nicole and standing her ground
16:25 Given that, I'd say it's more Asexual than straight, but that could be wrong.
