Although this is a new thing for Fortnite itself, as someone who has used unreal engine (Epic Games way of making games) and Roblox studio, they are both very similar as far as look and layout. The same applies for the unreal vs roblox discover page. Roblox has existed as we know it mainly since around 2006, and the first concepts for Unreal date back to around 1998. I think this is a cool feature coming to fortnite and is an interesting new competitor to Roblox, but the basic engine for Fortine creative is still Unreal editor. Unreal editor/Engine was the same thing that created Fortnite. Now they are just giving that dev powerto the poeple which is cool. In all just wanted to say that this is a cool new thing for Fortine, but aside form the creative logo, these engines have been very similar for years.
Its just graphics way overpower what is possible on roblox studio and in a couple months when uefn is fully ready overall capabilities will also be something that would go to uefn

Well for my opinion would be that Fortnite might have the same concept and content as Roblox, but the thing is that some or most are mobile players on Roblox and usually don’t have a set up or money to buy better gadgets to play Fortnite. So I would say it’s mostly targeting the PC players. But I can also see the conflict that Fortnite is making with Roblox. Since they are now a game engine.
Fortnite is not a total engine game you can stil play battle royale and tournaments or more tips of battle royale created by epic games and they are super nice

I've been waiting for 2 years+ for this to release. I remember the day Epic Games announced the project they were working on (Creative 2.0). I had been listening to all the news sources in information about creative 2.0 for all these years and all I can say is that at this period, fortnite ain't going to overthrow roblox anytime soon (well not yet) as creative 2.0 is only in its beta and is going to gradually grow overtime. There is a roadmap on how creative 2.0 is going to develop into by 1-2 years, we will be able to create AAA games in it. It is a long road but very soon it could have a chance on destroying roblox completely.
UEFN is a Version of the Unreal Engine that let’s you upload the game you have made directly into Fortnite. The Unreal Engine released in 1998 From the same people who made UEFN and Fortnite. Roblox Studio was released in 2005, So The idea definitely started with Unreal Engine. (Unless there is more that I am unaware of) Either way there are multiple game engines that all work great and are great, including Roblox! I hope this cleared things up for you.

Honestly I don't mind, I just want to mess around, because (in my opinion) Lua coding is a big mess, and I'm also not willing to make it so roblox gets my actual face and more so I can make an animation, but at the same time, is it going to be easier? Well idk but we will find out!

Fortnite didnt really mean to steal it, they were planning on this as a request from many developers, using unity 2.0, they are just taking the layout ext, the developers just wanted this.
As a small solo dev, that didn't really make a good game, but a playable one, and many failed and not done ones, it would be awesome if roblox studio would have more features!

Oh my God I have a feeling everybody at roblox is now braindead. Have you ever heard of "Unreal engine"? Creative mode has been around forever, and now your REALLY paying attention. I'm not going like "Zoinks! Fortnite made one single update! This is the end of the world guys, make sure to subscribe for the end of roblox 😔😔😔😔" I am not happy, but nor am I angry or scared of it. I just think the community is overreacting.

I tried the editor, it is MUCH more complex then Roblox Studio, but Fortnite Creative allows for more realistic maps, but most people won't switch.
Well with UEFN you have to be 18+ to actually publish your maps, so that just killed off a ton of possible creators (including me)

Honestly I don't mind, I just want to mess around, because (in my opinion) Lua coding is a big mess, and I'm also not willing to make it so roblox gets my actual face and more so I can make an animation, but at the same time, is it going to be easier? Well idk but we will find out!

Honestly I don’t see a problem with Fortnite Creative 2.0. I’ve been playing Fortnite since chapter 1 season 1 and I’m so glad they added the new creative mode. I think this will change Fortnite.
If they’re adding back events… is this a good opportunity for Rb battles to continue? Yes the channel will always be active but I meant the actual event where everyone (possibly) could participate?

Fortnite didnt really mean to steal it, they were planning on this as a request from many developers, using unity 2.0, they are just taking the layout ext, the developers just wanted this.

Now I haven’t played fortnite for a while but I’m pretty sure that fortnite logo has Been there ever since creative was added like 4 years ago.
As a small solo dev, that didn't really make a good game, but a playable one, and many failed and not done ones, it would be awesome if roblox studio would have more features!
