As a tradesman of 32 yrs. What a pleasure to see someone helping other who may not have the knowledge to make an informed decision. Keep up the great videos
I owned a Class C and one of the first things I did was upgrade the sway bars and it made a world of difference in how it drove. This advice is spot on. It's not terribly expensive to get done and so worth it. An older video on RV with Tito, when they had a C, goes over what is involved in the upgrade.
Excellent video. Thank you! Have a '22 Minnie Winnie 26T with the GE AC. So far, so good -- no issues to date (have owned right at 2 years now). Watching your plumbing videos next (no problems yet but as they say, forewarned is forearmed).
Thanks for your video. I generally agree with your assessments. As for plumbing, I have had all of these fittings go bad in every combination. Hoses have an advantage over Pex in an RV because hoses are not as rigid as Pex and can soak up the vibratons from the road. Hoses are 100% easier to run. The problem is that they are using the incorrect fittings and clamps with hoses. My solution is to never use city water pressure except to fill my freshwater tank and only use my pump to deliver water to my RV plumbing fixtures. I also never winterize... instead I go to warmer places.
I can attest to the garbage product of the GE air conditioners. My 2023 Reflection TT had the 15k and the 13.5k units. Both failed (lost Freon) within 6 months. Had them replaced (replacement units were manufactured a year after the original ones) and those both failed within 3-6 months as well. I went and replaced them myself at this point with Furrion’s. No issues with those.
Yikes! Yeah my client who had the original go bad, the warranty replacement also went bad and I did the same for him, I installed a Furrion. 4 in a row is really terrible. Let me know how the Furrion treats you!
You should also score the quality of cabinet construction. Nailed or screwed. Stick and frame nailed together is akin to mdf countertops. Cheap construction.
My 2021 Micro Minnie 2306BHS had the GE AC replaced under warranty. I just replaced it again this time with a Dometic. The second GE wasn’t two years old.
Thanks for another excellent informative video. So far (after 3 seasons) we have had no problem with our GE air conditioning on a 22' coach travel trailer.
I love watching your videos. I own a Cedar Creek 5th wheel and have been living full time in it for 4 years travelling about 10,000 miles per year. After watching your first video I went through everything and checked the plumbing and found it to be done properly. I would be interested in seeing your review of this brand.
Check behind the water panel in the basement, that is the only place I've see it on a Cedar Creek which unfortunately included the water heater, which unfortunately is the most at risk connection. The heat can make the flex hose pop off the fitting on the water heater and flood your rv.
Please look at the bumper pull Voyage line. Many (ALL) of them have substantial plumbing leaks (I’ve repexed all but about 5ft of my 2020 (Q3-2019 build). Then the drains for sinks, showers all leak. The tank valves leak because they’re installed poorly. Bunkhouse models have significant slide issues. Good floor plan on my 2427 though.
Almost every travel trailer I've looked at lately has flex hose and a pinch clamp on this toilet connection. A lot have pex going to the sinks. Wonder why they do this on the toilet supply line only? I asked a highly rated and certified Inspector in my area and he said "yea they do that." Said nothing about it being incorrect and not up to code. I said "Don't those fittings leak?" And he said, "sometimes they do." That was it. Hmmm
I'd appreciate seeing some Class B reviews, as they seem disproportionately expensive and fraught with issues. Particularly with Winnebago, there's a prevailing notion that their pricing exceeds the value offered, often justified by claims of superior quality. However, I'm inclined to think otherwise, given the recurring reports of issues and the apparent disconnect between cost and performance. By the way, this is one of the best channels I subscribe to. I will be purchasing your classes soon. Keep up the great work.
I have just replaced both of my ge ac units under warranty. Good news is that ge was very responsive and shipped out 2 new ones quickly and now I have 2 new ac units under warranty again 🤪🤪🤪🤪
Rigor RV Repare, you freaking rock man! tytyty for your content! Information packed delivered well. glhf my friend and fam and once again ty for your hard work and dedication sir!!!
Biggest upgrade I made to my 2005 Jayco Granite Ridge was bigger, beefier stabilizers on front and rear. It was already 17 years old when we got it and it wallowed down the road like a drunk whale.
Thanks for the request! I don’t have any review videos of this out yet, but there are 23 grades of that brand in my database from myself and other undercover shoppers. If you want to view the database and learn to assess the quality of any RV like I do in my reviews, you can take my RV shopping course and use my app to grade it yourself - undercoverrvshopper.com/rv-shopping-course/
I also offer consulting where I get on a call with you and we can talk through your budget, camping goals and I can review any RV listings you’re considering - undercoverrvshopper.com/book-a-consultation/
I bought a 2015 28 ft class C Minnie Winnie. I sold it 7 years later. The Ford E450 chassis was pretty good. Mostly good quality. However, the couch part had a lot of quality issues. I've heard that the quality of RVs has continued to go downhill. I will never buy another RV again.
I think I will just start going to the end of your videos to skip all the 6 to 10 minutes of advertising...... Initially I enjoyed the knowledge content your videos had. Now it is one huge commercial with little actual content about what you label the video. I think you managed 90 seconds of content in this video. Maybe I am being too generous.

Thanks for watching and commenting!
Love your channel man. I hope in the end RV companies tighten up their quality.
Same here, thanks for watching!

Great video. Thanks for the info! Would love your views and thoughts on a class c Adventurer 23 RB.
Thank you! Excellent information!
Glad it was helpful! Thanks for watching!

The best way to say thank you is by sharing your videos to other social media platforms... So that's what I do.
Thanks for sharing!!
You are super helpful! Thanks so much for this great info.

LOVE YOUR VIDEOS!! Even though I'm not in the market for buying a new, or a newly used, RV.
Glad you like them!

what do you think of suspension like beast independant
Please Please do the winnebago era 70 A.
thank you for calling out poor manufacturing practices!!!!
Very nice video I enjoyed it. I been looking at a 2006 Navion are they of great quality?
That hose behind the toilet looks like it will rub through by rubbing on the 'wall', too.. but maybe I could be wrong.
If that's a concern for you then you can easily install a plastic or rubber grommet to protect the hose. I've never seen one fail before.
Really great videos. Thanks!

Would love to see you review the renegade brand I always hear there one of the best, but I’d like to hear that from you to be sure
PLEASE do a review on the Northwood Arctic Fox Grande Ronde 35-5Z or the 2024 model 36-5VS.....Thx.
Here is a short I made about an Arctic Fox, ruclips.net/user/shortsutJsuKdJKlY?feature=share

Would love to see a review on a Leprechaun 319MB. You have been steering me away from the Minnie Winnies.
Please do Genesis supreme
Thanks for hammering the plumbing issue. Hopefully, the dummies in Elkhart get the message.
🤣 Sales is all that will matter to them unfortunately.
Very Frank. T.u.
Isn't RVIA supposed to be the governing body over RV manufacturing?? How can all these rv company's get away with just building crap?
Because RVIA is an association of manufacturers. It is not a regulatory body NHTSA.
It’s a fox guarding a hen house.

Winnebago was bought out by Thor and the quality went downhill since.
incorrect, Thor does not own Winnebago
