When Lana was a young girl she loved to paint her nails and the nail polish had a chemical that gave her that chronic disease 6:35 and her dad got the medical debt and couldn’t pay it off. Lana’s dad passed away at 80 years old and Lana was 20. 6 years later Lana came to see Gigi for a job so she can put some money into her medical debt savings, Gigi acted nice on Lana’s first day. On the Lana’s 2nd day of work Gigi gave her a SIDE EYE and mentally abused her, Lana became schizophrenic and started biting off her nails. Rewind: Lana first worked in the sowing department before she worked in the nail salon, then when Lana became schizophrenic she started to work at the nail salon instead of the sewing department so she can wear nails to make it not look like she was biting off her nails. Lana spied on Gigi and found out she was going to use the players for experiments when she was talking to the lab company 6:52. then Lana found out the first experiment would be motoprincess. Lana snuck into the secret lab because motoprincess went missing and that’s when she found motoprincess mutilated 7:00 - 7:05. In lanas world jisoo, Jayla, Nicholas, and Sadie are “missing” but they still worked for her?. in her world but in the real world they are killed by Gigi for the experiment 7:38 - 7:59

Here's my main theory atm:
Lana is the leader of the Awakening.
I made a theory not too long ago on Saturday on somebody else's channel and I wrote a bunch of paragraphs explaining my reason why I believe Lana is behind the Awakening (it's a video talking abt the dti lore by glossie if ur curious :p)
Anyway, I have my reasons why I believe Lana created the Awakening. Now it's brand new, it's no longer about her family. It's her trying to avenge someone... or herself.
When Lana was in a horrible state (when she was diagnosed with the chronic disease) everything when down hill. She had an extremely important person in her life who she loved and thought highly of. However, Lana was in such a horrible state to the point where majority thought she would pass away... or some thought she was already dead.
The person who she loved and thought highly of thought that she died. They ran away into the forest and created a tombstone for Lana. When Lana finally recovered, she discovered that the person who she loved and thought highly of was dead. She was in a state of denial. Soon, bitter loathing overtook her and she had enough. She created the Awakening to avenge the person who she loved. She always knew the fact that the person had close ties with a popular studio agency. Lana began to investigate the studio - she had joined them. Gigi was happy to welcome her, she believed that Lana was trustworthy, so she told her the studio's secrets. (I suppose the secrets were quite rich yet the secrets contained with no ill intent).
After Lana worked in the salon, she came to a conclusion that the person who she loved died because of this salon. She spread the studio's plans and because the members of the studio were vulnerable, Lana locked them away. She wanted to avenge the person that she loved.
Lana, the leader of the Awakening, had grown powerful manipulation skills. She wanted revenge, she wanted to avenge the person who she loved. So, she created a clone of herself, left her diary in the salon and ran away into the forest. She was waiting for us to come, so she could destroy that wretched studio, so she could lock us away.
She acts scared and petrified. However, in reality, she's manipulating us into thinking she's good. Gigi is the good person here. Sure she has some secrets but that doesn't make her worse than Lana.
Lana is targetting Gigi because, well, she is the owner of the studio. However, if she manipulates the people into thinking Gigi is the villain, the studio would be destroyed, burnt, evaporated. Lana could finally finish her reign, she would avenge the person that she loves.
The sacrifices:
Lana sacrificed her the members of the coterie to become stronger. So that she could avenge the person that she loves. Notice how Lana says "my eye.. it hurts" "I need somebody's eye." it's showing that she's weak, the sacrifices make her stronger.
Lana is in the state of denial and rage. Even though she knows the person who she loves is dead, she feels like she can hear them... She's just missing to them, they're not dead.
What could conclude Lana's wrath is acceptance. She needs to accept that the person who she loves is dead. She needs to move on.
(Also, she could be avenging herself. It could be that she was the person who died, she would need to accept that she's dead then).
I believe that's all to my theory? Well, it's kind of late so I'll add anything that I forgot in the replies. I believe this theory makes sense, considering that she has the eulogy t-shirt and the group being named "saudade" (which means longing/I miss you) she definitely misses somebody.
That's my theory!
Extra: Tiago's game is just water, right? Well the ocean is unexplored, meaning that Lana's story is unexplored as well... The ocean is mysterious, just like Lana.
