They used to be called Kara’s Flowers. They released 3 albums, “We Like Digging?”, “The Fourth World”, and “Stagg Street Recordings”. This song is on Stagg Street Recordings. I recommend that album, and The Fourth World.

@YouGuysAreStrange the piano is a little reminiscent of Elton John, but the voice sounds a little like Jim Croce - especially his acoustic songs. I wasn't sure it was Maroon 5 when I first heard it. :)
