I have been trading since 2000 ish. Sometimes the market plays the opposite game. Usually at the most obvious time, i.e right now we are post pivot with yields corrected, in theory we should be going down.... but up we go!! You just have to be positioned appropriately.
What it looks like is somebody is speculating wrong. 10 year going up as a projected re-inflation play is probably wrong. 12,000 jobs created and haven’t been revised down yet? Yeaaaa that’s 240 jobs per State ya know.

I've only just started investing, and what I'm expecting is for a big correction to be coming soon. This means I need to wait for the storm, then for my gains to be made next cycle onward. Gonna be a few year wait, I think. Just hope the recovery is swift rather than sluggish and drawn out.
