I love to see that every time someone praises him, Adrien tries not to make a big deal out of it, not wanting to feed his ego. He always keeps his feet on the ground.
Managed to get a ticket for Adrian B's sold out Donmar Theater production of Fear of 13 in London He doesn't mention that the theater is actually very small and the seating surrounds the stage so the actors are never more than 20 ft away from the audience.. very brave undertaking for AB
This whole episode has such a My Dinner with Andre feel about it, and I think it's one of my favourite episodes yet. I would kill to be in a room with these too, even if I had nothing valuable to say.
Can someone who has watched this maybe tell me if there's spoilers ahead? Didn't have the chance to watch both films yet but would love to listen to the podcast!
they do discuss some specific things in random scenes in their respective films but as someone who also hasn't seen either film yet, i didn't find them to be major things and i still don't know how the story will go so imo it's safe to listen to
F streaming F Netflix F ... Jason is so right. Going to a theater and experiencing a movie together with, especially with strangers. Having a communal experience with total strangers --there is nothing like it. We need to encourage people to get back into the theater and watch movies together. No, we need to discourage these corporations from bailing so fast to streaming platforms. There is just nothing like sitting in a theater as the lights go out and you know you're going to laugh or cry or maybe even not understand with a bunch of people you don't even know. We have to get straight with a lot of things in this world but we MUST get back to watching movies in theaters together. Please , people, make the effort. Get out of your house, go to the movie!!!
Some genres are so much better in theater too. The amplified sound bouncing off the walls, the wider screen, and crowds experiencing and reacting to the same things as you. It’s all great. I’m more likely to jump at horror in theater too
Jesus these guys are talking like they cured cancer. So many of these actors seem to want so badly to be recognized for more than just playing make believe. It's an impressive skill, but one small piece of a whole of artists and technicians and professionals all coming together to make entertaining art at a massive scale. In that regard it's unique and impressive but c'mon you're not changing the world - relax
Criticizing actors for talking about acting during a podcast specifically about their acting and with the mandate that they speak to each other about their acting and the art of acting. Congratulations, I think you're the first person in the world to sit on their own face.

Adrien is wearing the first Brutalist coat.
I love to see that every time someone praises him, Adrien tries not to make a big deal out of it, not wanting to feed his ego. He always keeps his feet on the ground.
Adrien is so eloquent and present emotionally that a normal coversation with him turns into art.
He's banging Weinsteins ex. Of course he'd be over the moon.
Loving all the Adrien stuff that's been coming out recently..
how easily and interesting this guys can talk so long with so much consideration and affection.
BIG day for wes anderson completionists
the brutalist is a masterpiece
Cant wait for Queer and The Brutalist
Queer is solid. Looking forward to seeing The Brutalist this Thursday!
In love with both the films
Brutalist is insane
Jason Schwartzman is so brilliant in Queer. Both of them are just brilliant in these films. Queer was so ridiculously overlooked in the awards season.
I can't wait for The Brutalist!!!

Brody is legendary
Asteroid City Reunion!!! Love it!

Queer was the best film of last year. Jason's perfomance was great!
It’s not even here in the uk yet 😭

For some reason I was really shocked to see him not look exactly like his character in Queer.

Such a good conversation. Adrien Brody is such a thoughtful speaker. Looking forward to watching The Brutalist.

Release those beats, Adrien!
Adrian could play a older Bob Dylan for sure.
Handsome men.
Two of the best movies of 2024!
Jason Schwartzman looks like older Iranian person here :))
Jack agrees with that, right Jack?
That jacket makes him look like Beetlejuice with the shrunken head
This is why other people write their lines.
😂 facts
