they should make it so gauntlets give 10 shards and for people that completed them when they open the game the vaultkeeper appears and says something and gives you the shards you got from the gauntlets to make it more fair and if you have them maxed just get like 700 orbs per gauntlet completed (if you have shards maxed)
rob should make it so that if a creator makes a fire themed level and etc, you would get a certain amount of shards of that type from it, this would speed up shard collection and make a lot of people like shards, daily chests are cool, but not an essential feature being collected from them, it took me a year to get to 90 of every shard, so this idea would really help gd, please see this cob. :) i think this is a cool idea, lmk in the replies so cob can see.
I'd love to see some other creators try this. With how close you got its definitely not impossible with a more efficient approach, but still getting like 95% of them is super impressive. I've been playing on and off for years but last year I got into it seriously. Clubstep was my first demon and it took me months on end. Started grinding toe2 about 2 weeks ago and finally beat it the other day and something just clicked. Now I'm up to 15 demons one of which is my first medium demon. I am unsure how many achievements I have since I cant find the completion number since I'm a mobile player. And also blind lmao. Either way my rant aside this is some top level content right here.

The achievement of "Geometry Star" which requires you to get a star rated level still hurts knowing that unless you have good connections via submitting levels through moderators or being very lucky, it's probably the hardest one to get for like 99.9% of most people in my opinion

I think that judging the old levels in the map packs as new levels is unfair. Back then playtesting or sightreading wasnt really a thing and easier levels today dont have memory but the map packs do thats why i think they get this much hate. If people would just get better are memorizing levels they would get alot less hate. And saying that the levels look garbage is just kinda dumb. For the time they were made in they were some of the best and thats why they are now in the map packs. I beat every map pack for all of the coins and really liked them and beat my first medium & hard demon in them.
you cant defend lunar ocean though. back in 1.9 it was an actual good level but once 2.0 came out gelt ruined the level. at least now in 2.2 he updated it again so its actually good

I will acknowledge your complaints, unlike some of the other people in the comments. A lot of the achievements flat out feel grindy, boring, or just not worth going for. Counterpoint however: These achievements were not designed to be rushed, but rather earned over a longer period of time. That’s why the achievements are designed the way they are. I don’t think Robtop thought “Hey, let’s design these achievements so people can stop playing the game FASTER.” Cause once every achievement is earned in a game, there isn’t a lot more to do unless you want to main the game professionally. Overall it looks like the achievements were designed to reward long term gameplay, but were executed in a way where they feel annoying and frustrating to grind for, with the payoff not being worth the time you put into it.

2.2 is right around the corner. That calendar saying it comes out any day now blows my mind. The release date of 2.2 is not confirmed. I said June 17th but your calendar gives me second thoughts and I think we might get it early.
This is actually really difficult since you'd also need to have a good amount of knowledge with the editor aside from playing skills to even get a rated level in the first place. To build a decent-looking level within that low amount of time seems really stressful if you aren't experienced enough.
getting every achievement will take at least 5k hours if youre new. if you have done this at least 3 times, it can go down to 1k hour. if youre an actual professional at the game, it would still take longer than 100 hours due to the length of the levels and also getting a rated level is almost rng based, since even if it would get rated no matter what, you dont know how long it will take for it to get rated. so good luck lmao
