This season like others was packed full of real social issues and lessons- From trauma to threapy, to infidelity, to apprehension about motherhood and distant marriage, to challenges of single motherhood and been a stepmother, to compromise, accomodating new beginnings,cohabitation and as funny as it came, sensitivity in the Spirit. Mama Tiwa sensed something about the nanny and Tiwa's marriage. May we be blessed with sensitive and praying mothers and be one too to our children,Amen.

Yes it did. There are different stories and faces yes, but it's still unfolding. Even real life is not straight. We live our lives same as our neighbors. For me it was a beautiful season. I'm anticipating the next. I just don't want it to end. SGIT keeps you glued. Even those complaining will be glued when next season comes.😂

This season was beautiful..I liked how the focus was on the various other cast and their relationship issues. The end was epic. I shouted. I am reminded on how we undermine the covering of spiritual parents. They see things before it happens and start praying. We see everything looking perfect and can't understand the fuss. But we are covered by the grace of their prayers.
Ndani TV, SGIT is my best Nigerian series of all time. It is relatable, realistic, informative, entertaining and captivating. You have earned your flowers.

Don't be discouraged. This is fiction and 'Mide's' actions are scripted. There are certainly still faithful men out there. There are still men who take their wedding vows seriously. If anything, ask if there are still script writers who portray marital fidelity in their scripts.

I think people are expecting to see more lovey dovey sides of MIDE and TIWA , for me this season is not underwhelming, because this season has covered what happens to different people in our society , and they can’t continue to give most of the screen time to MIDE and TIWA alone

From the depths of my heart, I sincerely appreciate this season soo much. Life is happening and we saw it happen in this season. A series shouldn’t always be centered on drama. Loool life is not a movie, let’s be realistic. And it’s only fair it was portrayed.
Secondly, I hail each and every cast of SGIT for living out each character to the point where Chude’s interview with Wosi in real life on his RUclips channel had people asking on TikTok how Wosi speaks really good English.
When Shalewa announced her union, some people on TikTok asked Dr Elijah how he felt and it almost felt like they forgot they were actors. Thumbs up to Ndani for this one. For giving us a season soo real. We could only relate.
Proper respect for costuming in this season. Didi’s fringe was my favorite!all down to the outfits worn, I loved every bit of it! Please continue with Game On. We need it🎉

In the best marriages, there are tests, trials and tribulations, along with the beautiful victories and triumphs. Maybe Mide underestimated the impact of, and temptations that he'd face with working for extensive periods of time away from home.
Tiwa experienced the impact of an absent father. Mide didn't. I think he's struggling with a lot of pressures that he's not telling Tiwa about. The road back to redemption for Mide - and healing in the marriage - may be a long one, but I'm ready for it. Let's wait and see what Season 8 brings! Great season, NDANI TV ❤

Family is everything. That’s my own take home from this season. The way they all showed up for Tiwa and Mide in the hospital, the way they are all present in each other’s lives. These little things go a long way. In the good and bad seasons, you need people. Not just anyone, but the people that matter to you. The family and friends.
Don't take the signs for granted.
Mide has shown once again that he doesn't handle extreme stress well.
I remember in one of the seasons he completely shut Tiwa out and refused to communicate because he lost a parent. He's doing it yet again

This season was superb! Consciously, exposing topical issues in relationships and family dynamics. Mide and Tiwa's relationship is taking backstage, for us to also look into other relationships. Especially liked healing Shalewa went through; acceptance of struggles of single women who may want a family without a marriage, how hard it maybe. The Single Mom angle to love and how children may put a cog in that journey. I like how important issues prior to marrriage are highlighted😊😊😊😊😊 this series put forward difficult conversatiins we take for granted. In all relationships, love only is not enough. Looking forward to next season😊😊😊😊❤❤❤❤❤❤... now we wonder what Mide is up to😮

Wosi's makeup game was elevated this season I think bc it took so long for SGIT to come back they just went with the evolution and Chioma's such an all around beauty they weren't completely feeling the total vibe or energy to maintain the integrity of Wosi's character but nobody is talking about how glam Didi's character was this season. Her makeup and wardrobe was Ace ❤ Didi's demeanor and presence was so elegant , sophisticated, and had much more depth.

I have been following SGIT since season 1 and I really love the series. The actors and everyone on the team delivered. Big Ups to Ndani TV for bringing the joy that is SGIT.

Dear NdaniTV…. Dear SGIT scriptwriters, thank you for season 7. Great work as always. Please DO NOT make Mide a cheating husband. Some of us love this show because it showcases the realities of life. You already showcased cheating in Chris and Mohammed. How about showcasing that a good man can actually love his wife and remain faithful to his marital vows in the face of temptation? If you write your script as Mide falling for Grace, that will be so low of y’all cos what are you trying to tell us? That no single human being on earth can be faithful in relationship or marriage????? Where is the balance??? You need to stop throwing unexplainable and “out of no where” flaws in your characters. You have done it in the past and it wasn’t even funny! Let me remind you… 1. Making Tiwa have a one night stand with Fabreeze abi Febreeze was totally out of character for Tiwa that was portrayed from season one till that season and even afterwards. 2. Making Mohammed sleep with Farida was also out of character! Farida had spent weeks in Mohammed’s house and Mohammed didn’t even look at her 2x not to talk of touching her. All of a sudden, he travels home, where there are several others around and boom! Y’all said he slept with Farida. Please, ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!! Don’t try this nonsense with Mide’s character if you don’t want to lose fans and subscribers. That last scene had better be Grace daydreaming about what it will look like being with Mide. I was initially shocked at Mide in the last scene but, I think the writers are trying to show us that even good people can make mistakes, sometimes we focus so much on perfection (holding others to a high standard and we forget that they're as human as we are). One thing is for sure Marriage comes with some not so great moments but as long as the two people involved are willing to make it work then it's possible. I also think the merger for Mide's company and Graces' company came at a cost, and possibly that was why he wanted them to leave the country. well the next season will help us understand better. Thanks SGIT team, I enjoyed watching this from season 1 in one week to season 7😁😁😁

This last plot twist with Mide was totally uncalled for.
Mide gave a lot of people hope to belief that they’re men who value their marital values and respect themselves and their partners enough to be faithful.

This season did have its strengths:1. The Wosi evolve mentioned though it was unrealistic to think she was actually learning anything in the University. 2. Mama Tiwa was excellent as usual. 3. Shalewa and Mohammed's chemistry was smoldering and I found the depiction of their struggles authentic. 4. Aunty Dupe and her new relationship was a great storyline and the hurt she showed when he walked out on her was my favorite wordless scene. She said a million things without using her voice.
Talk about saving the best for last! By far my favourite episode. The twist at the end was wild, I wished they didn't have to push the narrative of a cheating spouse but again, I understand. Great JOB Ndani. The real question now is "How long are we going to wait for season 8?"
I think y’all are being a little unfair with the “it’s underwhelming” comments,🙃 and now, some other people will jump on the train just because, “everyone is saying it”.🙄👀
But truthfully, what have they not done right? Great storyline, brilliant delivery, smooth character development, impeccable progression!💯💯💯
And honestly, there were no loose ends, especially for a series, they can’t bring the storylines to a dead end for the sake of continuity.🤷🏾♀️
This was a beautiful season in my own opinion, except maybe for the short episodes, which again, is necessary to sustain audience engagement, yunno, “keep them begging for more” kinda thing.🌚🙂

I agree with you, also I may be reaching but I think SGIT is more than just a series that will have a final season, so for continuity purposes, AND engagement the series episodes has to be a bit shorter and the storyline leading on to what we think may be the end. I defs believe there’ll be more seasons just like the regular dramas/soap operas we watch on tv. SGIT is definitely going for the long run. As a South African it’s giving The River and or Generations vibes with the continuity. So we better brave ourselves for more evolved storylines, characters and new characters to keep the franchise going

First of all, that scene where Didi broke up with Editi and gave him back his ring, and his children were like "please Aunty Didi" got me so emotional. I felt that scene.
Then I honestly did not feel Shalewa and Dr Elijah at all, right from the beginning. I just didn't get the vibe or feels. I didn't feel their scenes. But I enjoyed Shalewa's acting and the development of her character. Her acting this season was so good 😊
Kudos to all the female actors, their outfits, wigs and makeup were top notch this season.
