Great video! question using Bluetooth to start the unit do you need the key on. Can you keep the key on or will it kill the battery. Can you show us using the Bluetooth to start and how far will it reach. Thanks Again
Yes, you’d put the key to the on position and then start the generator from the app using Bluetooth. However, when the generator isn’t running, you’d want to keep the key in the off position, but I do imagine it would take a while to drain the battery. I’ll upload a separate video using the app/Bluetooth to start the generator!
@@chrisw.3077 lesson, never ever run your generator indoors it is not safe. Please watch this very important video about generator safety ruclips.net/video/I1jT3ANENvI/видео.html everyone really needs to watch this video. I’m not trying to force everyone to watch this. Thank you.
@@tonisam962 why the heck is this video about generator safety suggested by so many random youtube members? It's a terrible video with no information? Gotta be a bot or something?
Nice purchase! What are the other features of the Bluetooth app? Beyond start and stop, can you view the power load on the generator as a percentage of rated output or in wattage/amperage?
Hi Chris, Thank you for sharing your experience with this generator. After watching your video, I think I'm going to buy one. Are you able to unplug the CO-Minder sensor and see if the generator will still operate? I'm concerned that when I need the generator the most, I could be out of luck if the CO sensor ever fails. It would be nice to know if I could unplug the sensor, temporarily, and still generate power.

What is the difference between the 5000S and 5000SX?

Thank you! It does have a power load gauge. Complete with a redline!
@@chrisw.3077 Thanks Chris, that's what I needed to sway me back to this generator. I really wanted the EU7000is, but that price!!!
Same here, fuel injection and in a quieter body would be so cool, but not for twice the price.

Yes, it works without the sensor. Someone thought of this and tested it out. Thankfully Honda thought of it too.
Good luck god bless
