Once a milkmaid was headed towards the market with a pail of milk on her head. While walking she started dreaming of getting good money for the milk that day with which she would buy some fowls. Those fowls would lay eggs every morning . She would sell the eggs to the parson's wife and with all that extra money she would buy a lovely black, lace dress, a hat and a bow. When she would wear that to the market all the young boys would look at her making the other girls jealous. The milkmaid would not care and just toss her head and as she did so, the pail of milk fell on the ground spilling all the milk. The milkmaid started crying and ran home to her mother. On hearing the whole story her mother gave her a valuable advice,' Never count your chickens before they are hatched.'
