      I think the maker is referring to Houten, a town near Utrecht. It is a factual error that motorized vehicles are not allowed, but infrastructure is optimized for bicycles.

    All in all nicely put together. Yes tallest people, no not healthiest, first major company , first stock exchange, tolerate towards soft drugs etc.
    But we got problems too. Healthiest -not so because we are getting fatter, education is lacking the level dropped significantly on all levels of education, healthcare- shortage of staff, costs are way up high, migration-not so well organised.
    On politics- the parties at the centre of the political spectrum forgot about the needs and wants of the people in general. Those parties were taken over by nature and climate freaks that implemented policies on measures to decrease the output level of Co2 in our atmosphere. Wolves were re-introduced, giant windmills and solar pannels were set up everywhereas a so called solution for our "energy"problem. This mantra of "being responsable"for our climate was shoved down the throat of every citizen in our little country. People got sick of these dumb and stupid rigid anti-climate change laws!.
    The concequence was the move to the more extreme right of the political landscape! The rightwing parties promissed to stop the climate nonsens, start building houses wich we are short of, and fix the problem with migration. Now this rightwing cabinet is allmost active , we wait and see what this will bring! The Netherlands; a beautifull well organised country with good infra-structure and happy people in general, from a worldwide perspective!!

    • @pinobluevogel6458
      @pinobluevogel6458 Месяц назад

      A very strong comment with a lot of important points. However, I would like to correct you on the fact that Wilder's party, the PVV is not a right wing part at all. Yes, technically they are strict on immigration, but the rest of their entire party program is very close to that of the SP. (a socialist party)
      The decline in our country and the lack of acceptable governmental representation and effectiveness stems from the massive divide between the 'ruling class' and the 'working class'. In the Netherlands the citizens are overwhelmingly culturally 'rightwing' and economically 'leftwing', while the government is the exact opposite. Government is investing in culturally 'leftwing' endeavors, which almost nobody wants and is trying to cut costs to everything that is important to us, like healthcare, pensions, housing and public transportation, basically all the things that most people would want a government for if anything.
      Meanwhile taxes are at an all time high, our finances are in ruin and most importantly the buying power of the average citizen is at an all time low, lower than even at the record low of the earlier 19-20-1930's crisis years. The average salary in those crisis years for an unschooled worker was worth more than twice as much corrected for inflation today.
      If anything, we need much less government. Massive government spending needs to be cut and directed into the few things that we actually need, the things we have the government for. Lay off about 75% or more of the bureaucrats and hope that most will be able to generate some amount of value and wealth as an actual working human being.

      If this was true 1. Why aren't countries smaller than the netherlands richer and why are the richer countries all much larger? 2. Biggest exports of the netherlands are flowers, agriculture and technology! (i.e. CD, DVD, WiFi, Bluetooth, ... all are dutch inventions)
