The working for yourself thing is so true! I'm so happy working nonstop without days off because I know it's all for myself. Every second I spend working at a job making someone elses dreams come true is torture, every second of it.
The grind isn't that hard if you're working towards something you value. I think most people see the 14 hour days and extrapolate it from the 9 to 5 they hate and nope out befere they even start. Some of the best moments for me have been working long hours on my business to hit a client deadline. It's a different kind of "grind".

No it's not. It's just horrendously dull and ultimately meaningless. Another day doing the same thing for what another BMW? And this is coming from someone successful but this is becoming suicide fuel. The payout is not sufficient. Like the video games lose their appeal. So does "success"
