  • Here is a brand new similar style track, in E major: • Country Backing Track ...
    This is a 12 bar Country style backing track in A major. It's in the style of songs like "Working man Blues" etc.. Great for practicing licks in the style of players such as Johnny Hiland, Brent Mason, Albert Lee etc.
    The backing track starts off with a 4 bar intro in A, before the standard 12 bar progression starts.
    Please subscribe to this channel if you like what you hear, and I will keep creating backing tracks in many different styles and genres.

  • @naMnivraM

    Great speed too. Fast enoght to keep the eighth note runs easy and smooth, then I can step on it and make 16th note crams and it's just the right speed for just about as fast as I can play and it lands nicely. The length of the track is perfect too. Almost 7 mins of running around the neck at this pace is a great workout.

      Robert ogier I teach guitar , mostly free to local friends. if somebody is trying I try to help them. I don't know every thing but what songs are you working on. ( I've been woodshedding since the sixties). Chet Atkins ECT. if I can help you let me know. . My strat has some bad grounds but I strung my old nylon up and have been doing Jerry Reeds the claw. you can reach also at my pianostyle100 channel.

    Also that mixolydian was what Jerry Lee Lewis used when playing in c when on g7 he did a nail scrape up and down the piano. I come down in many fashions.,random triplets sound good as arpeggios.. because the mix. comes from the c.. you can hit any note and it will be great ..you want to land on some form of G7. with right hand.. oh yeah use this sparingly as it will sound contrived if over done.

    There are several suggestions for blues jam tracks:
    Use ready made tracks outlines.
    Try it out in front of several friends and ask for tips and advice.
    (I learned about these and more from Makale jam plan website )

    • @PIANOSTYLE100
      @PIANOSTYLE100 7 лет назад +1

      Ricardo Lesscar good advice. I make piano videos in the middle of them.. it's easy to make mistake. it is a good idea to practice in front of friends. professional jam tracks like this are great. Kind of a Merle Travis thing. He played a mean lead and buck played smoking country lead also.

    • @PIANOSTYLE100

      jeroen R a lot of this style will be portions of the penta tonic but like in c key notes g a c a lot of sliding the g blue Grass lick used by Earl and Scruggs. a lot of sixth and thirds probably some ringing notes open string style. Don't think blues on this think bluegrass. Brent Mason . oh yeah Merle Travis. The Bakersfield sound with Buck Owens. I would definitely use this backing track download or play Jerry Reeds guitarman it's a masterpiece .I loved the lyrics. that rockabilly sound is a good place to get some licks out of. here it is.
