Get the new HBX 2103 here: uk.banggood.com/custlink/vGmFNyKGVi USE CODE: BG2103 for 10% Off. What an impressive little car for the money and a nice change over the SG1603 which has been the king of cheap mini drift cars for a couple of years now! Great work HBX :) See you on the next one! 😎👍
Dyou honestly rate cars like this? To me they are just like small toys. I once bought a tracer for a larf. Won’t buy anymore like these. Don’t see the point in them
@@TidyRC I do yes because: 1) not everyone has the budget to buy the larger/top end cars 2) they are great fun depending what your into. 3) small budget cars are a great way for kids or beginners to get involved. It’s not for everyone but it’s certainly ‘for’ someone. I have reviewed/tested every scale on my channel from the xmaxx/30dnt down to this. It’s not something I would run daily but my son loves it. People have different budgets.
Under $100.. you can't beat that. I already ordered mine. I'll throw oil filled shocks on there, see if I can change the diffs and drive shafts to metal, and then toss in a nice little brushless setup. Great video, as always.
This is FTX Havok, just rebranded... which itself has most of the components from FTX Tracer (1/16th scale). This thing can fit some 1/10th scale wheels if you want to go crazy. the steering is very limited and I would suggest - oil shocks, new ESC and RX (with Gyro) that links to your radio and allows you to adjust the D/R for steering and the amount of Gyro you want to use.... and after those changes you will have a nice car that drifts (power slides) around and is also little off-road capable.
HBX was smart to scale this one up to 14 form their smaller version. The hard rubber tires give you the realistic sliding without the rapid tire wear. That long wheelbase adds to the stability in the power slides too. Nice shots!
Looks like a new body shell variant of the Eachine EC35 "Flameline" drift car (also probably made by HBX). I like the looks but to me it looks like the same chassis and isn't really new. The EC35 can be found around the 40 to 45€ mark when on sale on BG. Nice little car.
Hi, I’m new to the RC hobby and I’m looking to buy a new rc car I have a budget of $100 and maybe a little bit more, does anybody have any suggestions for what I should get?
Looks like a fun little car to slide around with Ricky. Definitely ❤ this scale size too! Nice job drifting this too! Can the gyro parameters be set at all on this?
Wow, fantastic little car, probably do really well with a faster servo and on a smooth 'drift' track! The shots outside the national grid are like something out of a fast & furious movie haha, epic stuff keep it coming! ❤
Sure and its almost Double the price. This is £65/$82. The MJX is £113/$143. If budget allows yes the MJX is better but for an awesome cheap option this is great!
@@beyondRC I wish that price is true on my place, because HBX stuff is quite hard to get here. So the price here is almost the same, just by a couple of bucks.
Usually these brushed smaller scale rcs are good for (or originally meant for) indoors or on the driveway like sg1603👍 I say that since I notice that theyre not meant for play areas that are larger where the rc travels long distance, cuz one will take notice how slow they are (since proportionate to environment). So basically just scale down the environment proportionate to the rc and then can have fun with it (as for me).
Tell you what nothing's going to beat the MJX trucks that they got out. These companies are way far away from beating them built wise performance you name it. Everything else looks cheesy plastic slow junk compared to the MJX hyper go 14301 truck.
I'll pass on this one, I'm not feeling it.. It looks a bit off to me.. It doesn't help that I absolutely hate hard plastic drift "tyres".. If it had oild dampers, proper tyres & a better looking body I might give it a go. 1/10th scale for on road is the smallest I like to go really. Anyways, thank you for the video, I enjoyed it.! Also.. HAPPY NEW YEAR MATE.. Please stay safe out there & best wishes from Scotland 🏴 🙏 ❤️ 📻 🕹️ 🔋 🚗 🚖 🚕 🚔 🚚 🚙 🚘 🚓 🚒 🚑 🚐 🚎 🚤 🚁 🛩️
that's fair enough mate cant win them all :) i enjoyed it and its half the price of the mjx 14301. Its nice that FTX offer the havok for spares here in the UK which is identical. Cheers

Right on. cheers
i have the HBX 2197 which is the 1/18 scale drift car and i play around with it indoors at home. these things are truly a ton of fun!!!
I'd love to see a review on the SG Pinecone 1004.
Love the cinematic intro!
Thanks 😎👍
I have the brusless pinecone mini pick up with oil filled shocks . I loved it when i first got it but the oil shocks its so much better to drive
i wonder if the mjx 14301 shocks fit it. suspension did look a bit too hard, was lifting that front wheel
possibly..
I love thes cool intros you do!!!
haha thanks mate just a bit of fun. Cheers

Also great shooting. The drift scenes with the cam mounted to the car are kino.
Was thinking the same. I got the EC35 for 40€ a couple of months ago.
Editing is on point 🔥
Thank you 🥰
The Gyro is working reverse and Turn On/OFF as per the manual is not working, you have any fix for this?

MJX hyper go brushed/brushless, HBX 901a, HBX 16889a pro

doesn't appear to be a way to control the gyro. Its just on... :)
@@beyondRC thank you!👊🏼😎
Still prefer my mjx 14301 for that kind of thing. Trying to convert a 50s Chevy body shell with a rusty paintjob for it.😊
Definitely will be buying one.Good little car for the money I think.
Extra tyre comes in the box......?

Its a eachine Flameline with another body?! Hope i can get the body for mine only.
you should be able to :)
I think MJX 14301 is still much better.

Much much better 😂
@@beyondRCI can get a MJX Hyper go 14301 for 120€
Not for me that one, Love the look of it though and the video editing was great. 👍🏻
Much appreciated! 😎👍

You should try the hbx 2997a it's awesome and last time i checked was on sale for 150$
Coming soon 😎👍
Wow Man❤❤❤❤ amazing greetings from Hungary
Is this an early April Fools joke? I'd rather joke on a Chinese Chicken Wang. 😂I'm joking of course. Not bad for the price.
haha

the mjx is a great truck
I will never entertain the thought of buying an RC that uses Philips screws as wheel nuts🤮
its a cheapy lots of them have that. Especially the lower end HBX stuff such as this :)
