- THE LONG STORY
Now in an MXR mini housing, the Classic 108 Fuzz gives you all the same vintage fuzz tones in a much smaller footprint. Like its larger predecessor, it's loaded with the silicon BC-108 transistor for a round and dirty crunch. This Classic 108 Fuzz also has the same no-nonsense control interface-just crank the Volume and Fuzz controls to your liking and start riffing. Use the Buffer switch on the side to make the fuzz play nice with wah pedals.

Sir, great reviews, I hecking love Dunlop pedals! You sold me this one.
Thanks Egor! I’m glad you like them!!
Another great demo! What a great Fuzz! The buffer switch is a fantastic feature for a Fuzz pedal. Might have to score that one... you can't have too many Fuzz pedals, right?? Lol, thanks picassos!
Love the color of that Telecaster!
I think it’s called Capri orange!
That is a nice fuzz.
FUZZEH! \m/
Hi there! May i ask how do you compare the 108 to the Hybrid from MXR for a fender 68 vibro champ? I own a Fender Jag Classic Player with Humbucker, I'm afraid the the Hybrid can get really muddy in a Fender really round and clean amp
How did you like this fuzz ? I’d love to hear from anybody who’s used it.
@benallmark9671 It’s a great fuzz. In its normal setting, it’s pure blue fuzz face. Amazing with a Strat. With the buffer in, it turns into a Tonebender, and sounds amazing with a humbucker guitar doing Led Zep type sounds. The Tonebender Mk1 was basically just a Fuzzface with a buffer. So with the 108 Mini, you get two pedals in one. Try stacking it in front of a Klone or BB, and it makes for some amazing saturated sounds. And super responsive to the volume control on your guitars. Beautiful singing single-note solos with volume back a bit. Probably my most versatile pedal, in a tiny size.
I play progressive rock, jazz, jazz fusion, classic rock, rock, metal, prog metal etc... and you can get a lot of varying tones from this pedal. A trick I like is using a compressor AFTER the FUZZ. I use a Ross Compressor, with my guitar volume I can change the level of dirt I get from guitar and it just sounds killer from clean to mild to wild. I mostly play a Standard Telecaster into a Trainwreck clone. Best tone I have ever had so far and I've tried a lot of different pedals including the infamous Klon Centaur. I think I get more of a wider spread and more lush harmonics w/ the FF circuit + Comp compared to opamp based pedals like TS, Klon, etc....
@@captainbeefheart8797 great insight. Thanks for the response. Much appreciated.
Nah not impressed at all with that pedal
