Thank you for showing how to safely and responsibly handle bugs and the damage they cause. Would you consider making videos on how to care for your garden tools. As an example, how should the sprayer be cleaned and stored following use? Do you need separate sprayers for different products? Thanks
Just wanted to say thank you so much for doing these types of videos. It has helped me SO much. I had no idea what to use all these years and I didn’t want to blindly spray harmful insecticides without knowing what exactly was going to happen. Your videos on this have been very educational and helpful to me and my garden. Thank you!
I absolutely love the battery operated sprayer! It must make things so much easier! Im constistantly spraying with a preventative every week here in florida. We have so many pests and many different diseases that like to creep around. I'd love to knock the spraying out in half the time, another item added to my wishlist 😀 Thank you so much for sharing Laura!
Do ladybugs live okay in your climate? You could order some and put them around your plants. They would love you and take care of your aphids. Love the sprayer. Tfs. 👏🏼
I’ve been wondering about mixing pest sprays for awhile so thanks for mentioning that. Aphids and caterpillars are my garden nemesis so I spray a neem oil product and BT weekly.
Was just talking to my husband about spraying and told him we need to get a sprayer you don't have to keep pumping up. Will check into this one. Thanks for posting. You window boxes and urns look so pretty behind you! Time for another garden tour!
Hi! I would love to see a hydrangea tour! I definitely love your garden tours. Would love to see all the different varieties you have and see how they each are doing at the same time. Thanks!
Thank you, Laura! Hubby just got me one of these and I love it. In south Louisiana we have every bug, disease, and weed imaginable. This climate is great for growing...everything, so there’s always a need to spray when the weather is this hot and humid. I highly recommend these rechargeable battery operated sprayers. I’d also like to say here that I love the progression of your videos. From spring and early summer planting, now on to garden maintenance, because that’s what most of us are dealing with right now. Appreciate all the helpful information from you and Aaron! (And of course, precious Benjamin 😊) 💚🌸
Crazy it always seems to work out what ever I’m dealing with in My garden, I wait a few days and you do a video with the advise I need!! 🤣😂Thanks Again Laura, I’m dealing with something eating my petunias, now I know how to fix it!!!
That’s great that they sent that to you and even better if it helps you. I checked out that hose winder and it’s not a bad price at all.when we get back home I’m going to order one so thank you for sharing it.
Laura, I have a 5 gal battery operated sprayer on wheels by Country Way. I love it! Holds a charge for a long time and makes the job so convenient. You might like it!!
I have one on order so was so glad to see this. I thought I knew aphids but maybe not? What are the white things that hop and leave white gunk on your plants especially hostess. Maybe those are spider mites. Thanks so much for reviewing this. 💕love your shoes.
Great video, I was not aware that there was a battery operated sprayer. I really hate aphids or any kind of bug that destroys the flowers. Aphids make my skin crawl. I remember one time one of my houseplants got aphids, I just threw the whole plant away, it was not saveable unfortunately. Thanks again, Laura.
I just love your review videos. You are so kind and honest and really give a good sense of the product. I really liked this sprayer the ease of a battery operated sprayer would be amazing. thanks for sharing it with us.
On another blog (houseplants - Plant One On Me), she has used all different types of bugs and she said that Lace Wings are the best. They are garden tigers.
Interesting. I have been fortunate in that except for one year when bagworms attacked some spruce in the back, I've not had a problem. The aphids to come, but I seem to have an abundance of Lady Bugs and they take care of that issue very well. I'll put info in storage just in case. Thanks for sharing. Hi Aaron!
Looks like it would be good for foliar feeding as well. I would probably need to have one reservoir kept only for "good" amendments versus the insecticides. I wonder if you can buy separate reservoirs.
I just found out that Ryobi also makes one of these and I already have their One+ battery system. In case anyone else has Ryobi battery tools, it's worth checking into.
This is an interesting product and the battery looks similar to my power tools batteries! Love when they can be interchangeable. Good review. We will wait for your follow up!
Laura! Can you do a video on dahlia problems? (Diseased, yellowing, over crowding, failure to thrive...) I grow around 50 dahlias and there's always that one or 2! Thank you!
Laura and Aaron: My husband and I were wondering how your gravel driveway works out for you and if you plan to leave it with the 3/4 clean, which is what it looks like you have. We are considering using it for our driveway, but wanted to hear your opinion and experience, first. Thanks!
I'm in the east and the Japanese beetles are destroying my Geraniums. Plus the petunias are under attack by both bud worms and aphids. I have liquid sevin on hand but I want to go organic.
I got attacked last year first with budworms then the aphids. I could never get rid of the aphids. Question do you ever pretreat you’re annuals before sighting of these and if so what do you use? Thanks so much love your videos.
Super bells are the only plant I get aphids on at my house every year...I guess I won't be trying them next year Funny thing put some over in my boyfriends garden and they were fine
Do you get rid of the dirt from the year before? If not that could definitely have something to do with it. If you pretreat and then treat a few more times throughout the season you should be okay. I totally understand if you dont wanna spray though lol i hate spraying haha
A bit more on BT the pesticide for the curious: BT kills any insect that eats the surface of the leaf (e.g. caterpillars, budworms, etc). It doesn't kill aphids and other sucking insects because they bypass the leaf surface. :) BT *must* be ingested in order to do its thing: it gets in their gut, where its crystalline form is dissolved and poisons the insect. It doesn't survive long in the sun, so spray early in the morning or in the evening or at least when the sun isn't directly on the plant for most efficiency. You will need to respray for the caterpillars that hatch after you spray, but give it a few days, and after you have the problem under control (two sprayings should get most problems under control), you can leave it longer. It's also important to remember that ALL pesticides are toxic! BT is toxic, even if it's a relatively safe pesticide. It has a low overall toxicity rating and is considered to be relatively safe for bees (they would have to ingest the bacterium to be affected), but I personally would still wait to spray until they went home for the evening. There is no such thing as a no-risk situation when it comes to pesticides, but you can absolutely use them safely by following label directions precisely.
Hi Laura, could you please share a video about how to get rid of Japanese Knotweed or any kind of bamboo invading the backyard. Roundup works for two weeks and then it comes back and invades all of the yard.
I love your videos but I feel compelled to advise if I may that if you look it up according to several university and pet websites even in low doses pyrethrum is highly toxic to cats and bees and fish and aquatic insects. Based on my experience the best way I have gotten rid of aphids is to simply use a hose & spray water or mild dish detergent mixed with water & spray plant and you're good to go - just a thought
What is the name of the border shrub behind u when u were trying the sprayer? We have a corner lot and we wanna put a short shrub around thats less maintenance. Thank u!
Can you use garden dust for aphids? I referred back to your video the other day and researched the Captain Jacks Deadbug Garden Dust but couldn’t figure out if it kills aphids. Haaalp
Lots better than "pump spraying"! You guys should ACTUALLY put the "links" you mention in the descriptions! I always check them out; but, they're HARDLY EVER there! Lots of us REALLY depend on/need them! Thanks!🌾💜
Technically yes but you would have to stand there forever if you put liquid fertilizer in it because it doesnt let a lot out and you want you soil to be super saturated. Also if using different types of things in a sprayer make sure you rinse the reservoir and handle through by spraying a full tank of water somewhere in the grass no one will see. Just in case it kills it from any stuff you could have in it.
I like the sprayer. Be careful with pyrethrins. Even though they are organic, I heard an expert (entomologist) say they are neurotoxic. You don't want to give yourself Parkinson's disease or something. Maybe it's easier and healthier for you and the planet to use less fertilizer so you don't have so many aphids.
I don't think fertilizing less is the answer. I got horrible amounts of aphids this year on my lupins which are in a perennial border that gets fertilized only once per year.
hi guy, i want review your video on my chanel. It's translated vietnamese. Because Vietnamese like wacth succulents but we don't know English. Please!. Do you allow?
great little gadget. You need some Obtego for your plants. it helps roots growth. Always Active, Never Lazy. Contact Wilber Ellis or Simplot in PNW area.
Coffee with Laura and new equipment to see tested, what a great way to start the day!!!
Thank you for showing how to safely and responsibly handle bugs and the damage they cause. Would you consider making videos on how to care for your garden tools. As an example, how should the sprayer be cleaned and stored following use? Do you need separate sprayers for different products? Thanks
Yes please!
What do we do with the wash water and do we add detergent?
Just wanted to say thank you so much for doing these types of videos. It has helped me SO much. Beautiful ' New ' Welcome Mat, Laura ! . . . Really Love It !

oh my im in florida too i deal so much with spiders, do you as well? What do you do for them?
That’s a neat product. If only Dewalt would come out with one so I can stick with all of the same batteries!
I believe they have. Check again. But this one got a higher rating.
Had me at NO PUMPING LOL....SOLD👍🏼
Do ladybugs live okay in your climate? You could order some and put them around your plants. They would love you and take care of your aphids. Love the sprayer. Tfs. 👏🏼

Didn't even know there was battery operated sprayers....that's helpful!
Yeah they have small and large ones. If you spray your yard with anything they are a godsend! They can get pricey for the larger variety
Thank you, Laura! Hubby just got me one of these and I love it. In south Louisiana we have every bug, disease, and weed imaginable. Garden tour soon?
Garden tour soon please. I need to see how the firelight hydrangeas are doing 💜🌺
I will have to check this sprayer out! I am always on the lookout for tools to use in my gardens! Very informative video - thank you!!!! 😃👍🌿🌱🌺🌻🌹🌿
I like the battery operated sprayers!!! Excellent!!
Wow, that one is heavy duty!!!
That’s great that they sent that to you and even better if it helps you. I checked out that hose winder and it’s not a bad price at all.when we get back home I’m going to order one so thank you for sharing it.
Love all your videos, but hoping for a garden tour soon (even if it's just a small portion of your property)
Laura, I have a 5 gal battery operated sprayer on wheels by Country Way. I love it! Holds a charge for a long time and makes the job so convenient. You might like it!!
Looks like a nifty tool. Like the idea of it being battery operated. Thanks so much for sharing!
I have one on order so was so glad to see this.
I thought I knew aphids but maybe not? What are the white things that hop and leave white gunk on your plants especially hostess. Maybe those are spider mites.
Thanks so much for reviewing this. 💕love your shoes.
That boxwood hedge is looking beautiful!
I like that it’s only a 1 gallon sprayer, 2 gallons is heavy to carry and I have steep hills to walk on. Lithium battery operated tools are awesome.
Ordered the sprayer immediately! My old pump sprayer is hard on my wrists and constantly stopping to pump sucks. Thank you for always adding links.
If you want to mix your tank mix...spray it back in the container.
It looks like you can extend the spray wand and make it longer.
I love your product reviews. Thanks
If you need to refill the reservoir more than once, you could mix the entire 3-4 gallons in a large container and refill from there as a time saver
My amazing husband purchased the Ryobi sprayers for me, it works great!!!
I bought the Ryobi 2Gal sprayer and love it!
I just love your review videos. You are so kind and honest and really give a good sense of the product. I really liked this sprayer the ease of a battery operated sprayer would be amazing. thanks for sharing it with us.
Have you tried using Lady Bugs? I have a friend that mail orders them for their gardens aphid management.
On another blog (houseplants - Plant One On Me), she has used all different types of bugs and she said that Lace Wings are the best. They are garden tigers.
Barbara Lindberg Love Plant One on Me and she shares such great information on her channel. She is endorsed by Esposma, just like Garden Answer.
Hi Laura! This is another very helpful video. Thank you for sharing!

That sprayer is the berries! Need to order one! Thank you.🌞
Love the sprayer, but 2 gallons would be nice. Thanks for the full demonstration!
Laura! Can you do a video on dahlia problems? (Diseased, yellowing, over crowding, failure to thrive...) I grow around 50 dahlias and there's always that one or 2! Thank you!

Thanks for sharing Laura 😀👌
Great for small gardens. I need to see what’s in the containers that are on either side of the door...please. 💚🌿😊
Thank you so much for posting this. My hands have arthritis and the pumping can hurt.
I’m still waiting to see how that garden turned out!
I love your videos! I am in the Midwest and we get Japanese beetles. Do you get them and what do you use? I have cannas and they devour them.
I'm in the east and the Japanese beetles are destroying my Geraniums. Plus the petunias are under attack by both bud worms and aphids. I have liquid sevin on hand but I want to go organic.
@@michellebrady3621 omg they are horrible. I have a neem oil and Dawn mixture in a spray bottle but I have humming birds so I have to be careful.
For beetles you need to get ahead of them while they're grubs. Here in my area (North TX) we have to treat for beetle grubs in May.
I got attacked last year first with budworms then the aphids. I could never get rid of the aphids. Question do you ever pretreat you’re annuals before sighting of these and if so what do you use? Thanks so much love your videos.

I'm sure, it is easy to pronounce in whatever country manufactured it. Japan?

Very cool! I need this!
Love hearing about products that won’t hurt honey bees! Btw, what happened to yours?
Thanks Laura, another great informative video.
Do you deal with Japanese beetles? If you don't you are so lucky here in Missouri they will kill a plant if not caught
Hi Laura, could you please share a video about how to get rid of Japanese Knotweed or any kind of bamboo invading the backyard. Roundup works for two weeks and then it comes back and invades all of the yard.
2 hours charge, thats impressive!
Have you ever had probs with white flies?
What would the treatment be?
Great, thanks Laura!

Thank you so much! This was a great video! Does thuricide work with spider mites?
You could use some double sided tape and mount the charger next to your other batteries
What is the name of the border shrub behind u when u were trying the sprayer? We have a corner lot and we wanna put a short shrub around thats less maintenance. Thank u!
I really like this sprayer.
Very nice.
Thank you! Great info!👍💟🥰
Nice Video!
Can I just use soapy water?
Thank you for the great information.
What are good perennials to make a hedge with? In zone 5 to 6 and in part shade
Any tips on dealing with leafhoppers? My husband kills a bunch everyday he even sprayed them they only go away for a day and then comeback.
Thx I know. Now what’s wrong with my supertunia.
Could u do a care video on pachira aquatica pls Ty!
Can you use garden dust for aphids? I referred back to your video the other day and researched the Captain Jacks Deadbug Garden Dust but couldn’t figure out if it kills aphids. Haaalp
Anyone know of a sprayer that will spray the underside of the leaves? I guess it would need almost a u-turn nozzle.
I have holes in supertunia leaves, not the flowers. What would it be?
RIP my kale needed this

Amazon sells Lady Bugs.
Good info
Dumb question: can the same sprayer be used for both fertilizers and insect repellents?
Michelle Zimmerman I don’t think this type of sprayer would be efficient for fertilizing. You want something with more output.
@@LLWW Thanks for the info. Fertization and controlling pests has been a weak spot for me. That's part of why I follow Laura!
Hello, I want to suggest to your next video to cover all about insulin plant, how to take care, plant, etc. Thank you.

You should wear chemical proof gloves when handling insecticides.
Great video
I'm first!!!!! Couldn't sleep last night at all so here I am!
Does Neem oil kill budworms?
The BT kills them because they ingest it. Don't know if ingesting Neem will kill 'em.
