- Hey groovy people! I've got a new video for yah! I've been meaning to pick up an Aslatua for about nine years, and I never really felt it was the right time. A month ago, as I was wandering Kyoto, I came across an opportunity that I felt was too good to pass up. I hope you enjoy this as much as I did, and if you're trying to learn the Kashakas, then let me know if this was helpful.
Thanks Jun for letting me film this!
Wow!!
Thank you!!
Let’s have a session next time!!
This is the guy!
I think I'm getting some kashakas for my birthday today... I've always wanted it and it was on my birthday list.
@@Republic_Of_Vicoria_Official Sweet! Hope this video helps! This guy was so good at it.
Hello, I've been trying to find a good quality shaker but have not been having any luck. Do you still sell these, and would you be willing to ship to the US?
@@EthanStreblow Do you know his instagram? Great video!
Been playing asalato for three years now and I find new rhythms everyday since theirs basically an infinite amount
They are such a cool mix between skill you and percussion instrument.
@@EthanStreblow I was in percussion in high school so I’ve had experience with the little percussion instruments
Awesome dude! I love to hear that other people are playing asalato too - there aren't many of us about! I'm about a year and half into my journey, and you're totally right there are almost infinite rhythms!
Keep playing and having fun. Greetings from Austria!
Where do you recommend to buy this instrument
Hey dude! Ive been struggling with learning these, and aeeing rhe clip at the end of you playing them and seeing someone at a similar skill level than mine actually helped my mindset, thank you so much!
Glad it helped!
I'm not sure how, but I think John Wick might use these as deadly weapons in his next movie lmao
Holy shit that would be incredible
For crushing thumbs lol
It’s cool how throughout the video your playing gets more and more impressive
And then you go.... One two, shake shake
I'm hooked. I need to learn this now!
Sweet, right? This guy is awesome.
They look really fun just to fuck about with
I can attest.
this is super cool, two instruments in one
Thank you for this video! I've been trying to figure out how air turns actually work, and this was super helpful. All the best :) P
Great! Glad it was helpful. It was so cool to see. And it was super unexpected. I didn't even know he could do all of that when I started filming him.
What a nice tutorial
Yeah! I was so happy that he was willing to do that. He was a nice guy.
The world might need this Man's name :)
@oneworld412 😁
It’s called nkush kash it’s west african in origin from Ghana I’m sure it’s be used to make “Israeli Latin Mediterranean music” tho
Shame

I can see you yoyoing to his music!
Right? I’ve been showing kids the yoyo and asalato and juggling.
@@EthanStreblow What about unicycling?
@@centlangidrik6312 I guess I haven't really shown that yet, have I?
Even the crosswalk beeper got in on the rhythm ^.^
Haha! A rhythmic country indeed.
Gostaria de comprar esse instrumento
Como faço e qual valor
That was sooooo freaking coolll!
How have I not heard of these before?!
Aren't they interesting? I saw them first on this video.

Super cool channel called Hang Massive. If you like percussion, worth checking out. (I sound like I'm affiliated with them or something. 😆)
can you tell me the length of string between kashakas? i bought a pair that i feel might be too short
I think I remember having the string be about the length of my palm. You could try replacing the string to be longer. I was constantly changing the size of the string to get it right. Or letting other people use it.
UAU!!! AMAZING!!!
Wow,. The real legen😬😬💥💯
Yeah, he was great
Nice
Nice 👍🏿
More! Moooore!
whoa!! kaimasu 😂😂😂 I would have done the same if I was standing there. Instead I just got them from Etsy just now lol
Haha! Right? I was like, "Well, now I gotta get 'em." Etsy is great. Glad this guy I met on the street inspired more than just me. 😄
Let me know how they are and how it goes!
Does anyone know where I can buy this instrument??
Sorry, I bought it from him in person. He makes them himself, so I'm not sure if he sells them online.
…凄い!! 左右違うリズム… 頭がついて行かない💦
やってみたいと思いますが…
すごく難しそうです💦
凄いですね。
www頑張ってね!
amazing.. i bought one
Right? I feel yah.
When you love Africa, you embrace their culture.
Do you sell these online bro? I’d love to buy some! :)
I'd love to hook you up, but unfortunately they were made by the guy, and I bought them from him personally in Kyoto, Japan. 😄 Sorry.
Can i buy it? Please show me link, where i can buy it
I wish I could. I bought it from him in person. Sorry. But they are African percussion instruments, and if you search for them online, I'm sure you could find them. Good luck!
Te passssai!!!
Its the one you are doing every day
That’s it! I got those this way. 😆
Skills hes on another level
It’s ridiculous. I didn’t know what I was getting into when I started filming him. Incredible.
@@EthanStreblow I got a pair of these with my dejembe drum never realised how well they could be played
Damn straight, it takes skill to be so effortless
@@t.ist666 Dude is crazy. It was so cool to see him bust that out.
@@terryroberts5309 Right?! He's insane. He's gotta be in the top .1% of everyone who can play these things. And I found him in Kyoto Japan of all places! Who would've guessed.
i don’t know Japanese, but i understand his saying! it’s magic of music…
It's like playing begleri
Begleri? I've never heard of that. What is it?
