Two different games with fundamentally different priorities.
In No Man's Sky, the sky is a loading screen. The focus is on procedurallg generated planets.
In Space Engineers, traveling between planets takes half a day of real time, and the space feels real.

I dunno. With all the free DLCs I feel like every planet is the same, space travel way too casual. Every sistem is already populated with robots and space stations. Can't analize The atmosphere composition. Planets are way too cramped to one another. I didn't find a single gas giant or normal planet (without life) all the planets have vegetation only with diferent color or Bug elephants. Kinda shitass Game. Bases are way too complicated to build and ugly as shoot. The character doesn't eat, doesn't shit, doesn't sleep, it uses his beam for everithing.

My time with NMS has passed but I say that with fondness in my heart. This game got me through a horrible break up during the pandemic. Heartbreak at what felt like the end of the world is no joke.
I am so happy that this game is still going strong. I wish I could play it with fresh new eyes and experience it all over again.
Hope you are doing much better now. I can relate to video games and music being my escape for otherwise horrible life events.

I don't even have money but I'd still spend it on this game. They've more than earned the right to charge for SOMETHING at this point. I wouldn't want them to go full micro transaction by any means, or set a precedent with a paid expansion (unless it is truly massive and game changing) but something like a "Supporter Pack" of around $20-30 that gives a unique multi tool, ship, player suit, and/or base decoration(s) would be plenty welcome and fair I think.
No one is stopping you from leaving money at their offices. Why don't you do that instead of expecting everyone else to start paying?
Some people enjoy getting these free updates and not being nickel & dimed by developers, myself included.

Unfortunately most expeditions are single redux only. Each November now brings Expedition 2: Beachhead followed by the year's expeditions as reduxs through January. In order to play other past expeditions file edits are required which can only be done on pc, and they have to be played offline. See Expedition Generator for details.

One thing I like about this update is how they fixed ground vehicles like the Roamer. I still got some issues with how the camera work, its too high and misaligned in third person but the improvement was great for driving.
I respect tf out of this team!

@cralo2569hahahahahaha, SPACE ENGINEERS!! As one of the few losers with 5k+ hours in SE I can tell either you played 3 hours, or never played. SE is far closer to Minecraft than NMS or Starfield. SE is a voxel based building-block game, yes us have tons of survival but it's more direct, Starfield and NMS use survival much differently, stupid comparison from you lol

We have bases that allow us to gain money and resources to improve our ships, which we use for space exploration. Corvettes is just an another way to do that.
Ground vehicles speed up resource gathering and planetary exploration for more resources.
All of those things are tied to the core gameplay loop and improve it.
But gathering garbage doesn't really sound like it is connected to any of that. It just seems kinda out of left field.
@Mark-vr7pt it`s not just trash mini-game. They added two new mechanics, that will be used in the future.
1) Gravity gun and special items, that can be move by it. It can be used in many future mechanics.
2) Modular exo-crafts. Colossus was just the first one. But when they make the Minotaur Update...

I'm calling it right now, Remnant Part II is going to add in depth factory mechanics like satisfactory or factorio. The game just keeps getting more peak every year
NMS Already has extensive crafting, what it needs is a factory to build it in.
NMS - Automation update
I hope it also adds more options for storage. A placable small containers that are infinite to build.
@racingraptor4758 an open air dump site. You flag an area to become a depo, it has a limited capacity but based on area. It would just look like a c-can with the top chopped off. Load manually with interaction and bulk load from the top. Conveyor belt (or whatever) access from both sides, export only. Then add in a conveyor dropper to feed other bulk areas.
Now, given the normal throughput of a conveyor belt being 60 to 100 items per second, the dropper would need to be able to accommodate a full belt load so a hundred items per second. The give rate from a bulk bin should be anywhere between $200 and $400, so you would need access to at least four droppers into the bulk area at a nominal size. Within the system itself, you would need to put your conveyor splitter, oh did I mention that it also has conveyor splitters, that can handle the throughput but splitting from a 100 to two lines of 50 is sub-optimal. So you would need three lines of 100 coming in then manifold split, you do know how to do a manifold split, that would allow you four full droppers and still leave you with a 100 line leaving the other side, this one would be fed off into your sub base main floor which you would then pipe upward, I did mention there's vertical conveyors right, into your Prime manufacturing setup. From here you would distribute your 100 line through three manifolds into the five-bay storage units that you would use to feed that first floor, which would more likely be one part storage access by hand and the rest future access for machines.
Now we can get into the real minutia of this if we're talking a product per second......

Would certainly make planetary bases more useful.
Next they need to add Star Wars Galaxies-styled resources and crafting so that each resource has specific stats, to incentivize exploring new planets to find good resources that a crafting recipe needs a good quality for.
I'm excited for the terrain glitches from the gravity gun, just picturing casually launching a sentinel to supersonic speeds.
