Thank you, very helpful. On my GT 125 however, thete is a nut inside the glovebox, holding the legshield to the frame, remove this and you can flex the legshield enough to get to that awkward bolt.
Yes on the GT with the plastic legshields you can. On the GP the metal is difficult to flex that far. I did one for a pal and he had a very thin ratchet spanner which ment we could do with just a little flex of the metal 😊
I did another swap for a friend and we did find a small wrench to fit the Torx and it worked so yes. You need someone to pull the legshields backwards while you undo it.
@@MikeColwell Since after 10+ years and 3 Harley-Davidsons I very recently decided to considerably downsize. So a week ago I had a new Vespa 300 HPE delivered. Once it gets to service time it'll be more trips to the dealership. I traded the 3 Harley's in before any major service costs. 👍
@@MikeColwell Straight up the fun to me has been on Sunday rideouts with my Harley mates. Five, six or more Harley's cruising along, pure pleasure. Before owning the Harley's I honestly did own and enjoy a Vespa. Now it's time too enjoy Vespa again.
Thanks hope you've subscribed. The TG is a Lambretta series 2 copy with the GP being a copy of the series 3. I had a series 3 in 1969 so I wanted a GP. It depends on your view as they both run the same motor. The qualities great and the ride is terrific on both so it's down to the look you prefer.
@@MikeColwell Yeah have subscribed haha,so I gather you would recommend one as some bikes like these get bad reviews because they ain't the originals...any further information would be greatly appreciated 👍👍👍
@@dazman6173 There will always be some dinosaurs out there however lots of owners of older scoots are buying Royal Alloys now. There are enough in our club that we often go on a run with only RAs. Generally you will find them well accepted with many club members eyeing them up to swap there own. Go for it you will not regret!
@@MikeColwell Just one more question, the power differences between the 300 and 125,is it that noticeable??probably should be obvious answer but just wanted your personal experience 👍👍
@@dazman6173 no comparison between the 125 and 300. 125 will clock 62/64. Probably 57/59 real world whereas the 300 will hit 84 real world and has double the acceleration. 300 every time if you've past your test.

Top video, Mike.
Thank you 😊
I think I'd go with the two keys option and store the box key under the seat.
Half way through I thought the same 😂
Wouldn't it be possible to just get a L shape torx t30 wrench? Or is there no room?

Job well done, if it was me afraid it would be a job for the dealership £ !
James, where's the fun in that 😊😊
