If you mean your monitor's default, you could either input those numbers into the /viewport command or change the resolution from the options on the eq button.
Here's an idea! How about instead of complex, unreliable workarounds, the developers fix the graphics in EQii so they work with modern monitors and graphics cards?
I think they are working on it. Added the 64 bit, just added the UI engine and now DX11 is in the works. Hopefully true widescreen happens sooner rather than later.

ya eh how do we fix it if were launching it through steam and cant get past the server select tho
I wouldn't launch it through steam personally - I'd download it from daybreak.

Also how does this do in narrow dungeons can you see through walls?
Not really; you do have much better peripheral view, but you won't notice much difference in tight hallways.
