Originally TS!Underswap Was just a regular Underswap with some changes but in 2017, TS decided to completely revamp the game And that's how TS!Underswap was born.
TS!Underswap is the most genius concept of underswap ever. The roles are swapped yet they are still the same people from vanilla undertale. Yet at the same time it’s not the swap and they are slightly swapped. For example sans; is still a pretty much the same chill jokester he is, however he’s less lazy in the form of depression and nihilism, and more normal kind of lazy. He seems happier in life, has that small papyrus ego, and actually goes out of his way to save people. And not only cause he’s a super hero vigilante, but I feel like normal UT sans would do the same if he didn’t have that “what’s the point..” mindset/depression. In the pacifist route you can’t die in the crossbones battle, he sends you to the shed just like UT papyrus to try again. I can give. There’s probably many more examples but that’s the main points for now. Now with Papyrus; he still has a similar mindset to UT papyrus, he is optimistic and still believes you can change for the better during the ruthless route, even when he thinks sans was killed he still wants to believe in you. However he’s not as naive as UT papyrus, he’s more cautious around you and aware that you can harm him at any given moment. Not to mention the fact that he even runs away unlike UT papyrus. And I feel like TS swap Paps is more depressed here similarly to UT sans. That scene of them playing the game together where he feels like he’s projecting himself onto sans’s whole super hero persona, I can see how papyrus wants to be the same, as in be UT papyrus who wants to be the hero, but depression can often push us away from trying anything or our dreams and hobbies. Which is why he copes with it by making sans the hero, which sans having seemly no depression here, is happy to play the role. A perfect unique concept to a swap au!! (I could even talk about chara vs frisk here but this video I’m commenting under is not about them)
um guys, i'm starting to think that crossbones might actually be sans from the hit indie game undertale created by toby fox. but nah. that's crazy, right?
Ok I am 100% Convinced that in this Universe Papyrus is the fucking Older brother; not just in role… he seems to genuinely have that “Older brother” care for Sans… yep. (I think just watching the video is self explanatory)

Yeah that’s why it’s called TS!Underswap. It’s not underswap. And technically speaking TS is more logically swapped than the fandom underswap
More logical changes, and realistic. If you want a story where Sans is literal Papyrus and vice versa, then go away.
