    Thank you so much for making this video!!! This is one of my favourite Dorset villages - it’s in a great location for country and coastal walks ! Just another fab video with added cuteness of cygnets 🦢🥰

    It amuses me that mute swans do make noises. What a delightful place & plenty of great walking there & around. Yummy cakes.

      Haha! Yes, I thought the same thing about the mute swans making a noise. I just had a little look online and apparantly it is callled mute beause it is less vocal than other swan species. Yes, a really delightful place! A real treat to visit!

      A great video Louise. Thanks for showing us the swannery. Also how wonderful to see swans and cygnets so relaxed and safe. No abandoned fishing hooks or abandoned fishing lines causing them trouble. 🦢🦢🦢🦢🙂

    Hi Louise, You looked like you really enjoyed yourself both visiting and with the editing too.
    I don't think I've ever seen so many Swans in one place before I'm mazed that you can get up quite so close as that. You would need to have a tight leash on the lttle ones too.
    A great relaxing watch, well done. All the best!!

      Thank you David!! Yes, that’s so true about keeping a tight leash on little ones.
      I had a brilliant time. It was so relaxing there and was a real pleasure to edit. 🤗

      @@SouthWestSundays it did! I liked it when the swan and cygnets were swimming along the river in time with the music! 😀

    • @SouthWestSundays
      @SouthWestSundays  5 месяцев назад

      @ltlawithamanda Yes, I did not have to edit any of it. Fitted perfectly. Also when they plopped one by one into the water in time to the music and the mum’s friend zoomed up to the other side of the tunnel and they glided like reflections of each other back and forward.

      Thank you!! Yes, it’s so stunning there. I was so happy to visit during cygnet season, but I think it would be stunning even out of cygnet season. The swans are so photogenic and so graceful.

    You have a winner there Louise. beautifully filmed and presented in your own special style. How often does that bus run from Weymouth? That looks like the ideal way to get there.
    How do you get away with copyright on the music?

    • @SouthWestSundays
      @SouthWestSundays  5 месяцев назад

      Thank you Lionel! The bus is currently running every couple of hours (with a few exceptions). It’s the X53 from Weymouth Kings Statue near the seafront. It’s a really lovely way to get there. So scenic and very refreshing! It takes just under half an hour.
      Re music. I pay a subscription for Epidemic Sound which has a vast library of music that I can use without risking copyright. The account is linked to my RUclips channel, so RUclips knows I got it from there. There is not a lot of popular /well known music on there, but it has good versions of some classical music and something to suit most atmospheres that I want to create.
