This should be my next upgrade to 1440p do you guys think this gpu would be okay for gta 6 when it comes out? I don’t want to risk getting a gpu that can’t handle well with 1440p for gta 6. Ofc it probably won’t come out for pc till 2026 or 2027 but I just want to make sure this gpu should be okay when gta eventually comes out for it
Yes, it'll be fine with that 16GB of VRAM. And I wouldn't recommend a 12GB card from Nvidia like 4070 super...as although the upscaling is better, the actual vram might cap out. The only issue I have with this GPU is...when you're spending this much, you'd like it to do everything, including RT which is crap with AMD. So...best suggestion will be, wait for 8000 & 5000 series. As, AMD will have AI based upscaling and gen 3 RT then, so it'll be a lot better. Same with Nvidia...there's supposed to be huge performance spike on both parties.
So should I upscale or not? I keep seeing stuff that makes me believe upscaling is good. But I always thought upscaling would look worse and native was the way to go.
Is it just me or there are lots of youtubers praising Nvidia and lying about AMD performance and even saying this card is not good enough. Thank you for this honest test. I just subscribed.
Ive used AMD since the 3000 series. Ive never had a repeatable issue on any of my cards or CPUs outside of the card/CPU itself being defunct. (only happened once when i bought an RX580 4GB model) AMD is the best thing you can get on a price per frame outlook. So as an AMD user i highly recommend. As an Nvidia stock holder since 2016, Nvidia just has more under the hood to lure you in. Ray tracing in most games is barely perceptible so while its something they push, its not really something thats gonna blow your mind. DLSS? Also great unless your game is running below 60 gps pre-frame generation, basically makes any game extremely smooth without too much lag between inputs or skips. The biggest mark that Nvidia gets is that they just own so much market share that almost all games are specifically made with their gpus in mind and as a consequence just run better overall in those games versus AMD. As an Nvidia stock holder i recommend them if money is not your concern and performance is all that matters. Give AMD time to corner more and more of the GPU market share and youll start to see their overall performance in gaming go up as well as more and more developers specifically engineer their games to fit its architecture. (This actually what they are working towards now. getting gpus into the market in regular gamers hands to incentivize game devs to adopt their technology more and more, mainly FSR 3.0 frame gen as its pretty rare for a game to include it but its basically on the same level as DLSS in terms of overall frame rate gains.) In short AMD for the long run Nvidia for the short term
dude one questio so i have i5 12400f woth 16 gb ddr4 ram and ddr4 motherboard and i have recently ordered rx 7900gre so do you think will it give me very smooth performance at 1440p settings without any problem or will it bottleneck.? cause i dont have budget to upgrde toa better cpu and ram so just wanted to ask you
its not the gpu is pretty good its because some games cant handle more than a certain fps for example gta 5 game engine cant handle more than 180 fps so if u get more than that it will stutter so its best to cap it for a smoother experience same for other games if they have a cap.
Conclusion: You can play 70 games smoothly without problems at 1440p. You will be happy. You don't need $1000 GPU.
Let's be honest; Google algorithms did not recommend this to you. You searched for it.
wow ,i am in top of the search?
it recommended it..
I did
@@IneffableBenchmarks yes you are
Yeah, i search for it
Thanks, this is big effort. Appreciate it 👍🏻
My pleasure!
About Apex Legens there are 1 detail, there are cap to 300 fps, that you cannot disable.
So when you see it at 300 fps it can do even better
tru
games being sorted alphabetically is much appreciated
yup thanks
dont forget to overclock memory :D i got around 10% overall uplift in fps and its stable as rock , only importing settings when new driver comes :D
What is tha on screen fps showing software name

@@codex2621 But 4070super good in Ray tracing and path tracing
amazing video bro thanks
Glad you liked it
Great vid thank you!
Thx for u job❤
hey thanks for the comment, do you have any suggestion for these kind of benchmark videos
beast card at a good price!
indeed
Is there any reason for the micro stutters in games? Like a sudden drop in 1% FPS.
all the storage is at ~90% capacity so yeah i/o stutters
@@IneffableBenchmarks I thought it was because of the first launch of the game. How much % of storage have you had while recording these?
Yes, he is running slow RAM, should be 3600mhz
@@IneffableBenchmarksdoesnthis gpu goes above this 276 wats ever?

Use upscale only if game doesnt run smoothly and u want more perfomance.
Thanks! Bought 7900GRE Steel Legend! Perfect choice for me :)
Good choice!
can you compare this cpu vs 5600g? same gpus?

hey, thank you
How are you getting an avrage of 123 on helldivers 2 when i havr the same gpu but a 7600x
Probably 3D VCache. I was wondering the same thing looking at other comparisons.
ABsolute monster of a 1440p gpu, and its 500-550$ brand new!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Totally irrelevant but the tank in TLOU is mishmash between an abrams tank and a challenger

Search on YT with that combination I saw a video where cpu was bottleneck
No bottleneck at all at 1440p, you can have a bit of bottleneck on intensive CPU games, but nothing important
i think you should purchase 16 gb more ram of the same model because a lot of games are using 16+ gb these days
Should i go for 4070 super or 7900gre?😅
gre better for gaming but 4070 super uses less power
depends, i will go with 7900gre only i purely game, dont like rt and stuff lol
@@IneffableBenchmarks i already built a pc with 7900gre and its just pure monster in 1440p
7900 GRE is better that's why they released it globally even tho it's supposed to be for China only.
