This was my daughter's favorite band and one of her favorite songs. Miss you.
My son died in 2008. He was 27 years old when I got in my car to drive home after the funeral this song came on. I just listened to the lyrics and knew it was Jimmy saying mom I’m OK.

His range isnt even that outstanding, its just his tone and sound and the way he uses it. I have a similar range maybe a bit bigger.

@@spencerbarker7358 Yeah this song is almost impossible to sing for a baritone like him, even for a tenor is very hard.
He did hit the notes in a acoustic show so he can definitely hit them. I don't think this is a track it wasn't perfect there was a imperfection which isn't on studio version. Yes his voice is amazing these past couple years.

This is awesome! One of my favorite songs that I’ve ever heard them do is Never Gonna Let Go it’s here on RUclips but it’s an unreleased track that is only on the Japanese released version of the Cut The Cord album. Give it a listen it’s so good!

He is absolutely using a pre recorded sound clip for the chorus. There is a difference in sound quality/pitch.Not natural to sound that flat during the verses and nail the high notes in the chorus.
yup. Its quieter too which is another giveaway
Brent is actually a good singer and I have done sound for him before and he is not using pre rec for anything.. we turn the reverb on for some of the lines but those come in after he actually sings his notes.. the man has an incredible voice and his pitch need NO help.. so please know that the hell you are talking about before you make ignorant comments like that and again I have done stage sound for them so I am qualified to accurately comment on things like this…

@@nathanray5553he's an incredible vocalist, but he's also definitely using a pre-recorded track. There are too many examples of this to ignore. The rendition of I Dare You on their live DVD was a dead giveaway.
ah not just me then. no one denying this guy is one of the best vocalist to be recorded, but depends on your vibe and skill it's not always accessible to pull off those insane notes and have that growl and everything else like on the studio track. on this recording it's all sorts of flat and thin and range not there, no one is judging. Just curiously pointing out. no one's perfect. amazing track.
