Ghostfreak transformation in Alien Force is my favourite and it’s very painful.
I believe that there is a feature in the Omnitrix that makes Ben not feel any pain during his transformation sequence. Maybe that feature can be disabled

Episodes like this make me wish Ben had his full existing roster (Classic and AF) by now. I miss a lot of the older aliens and its weird that the only one of the original 10 we have is Diamondhead.

@@Nelsito99 Yes but the original 10 are the 10 aliens unlocked in the Omnitrix when Ben first discovered it in season 1 of OS, making their debuts over the first 4 episodes, hence the name; original 10.
Cannonbolt may have replaced Ghostfreak in the titles of season 3, but he will always be the first additional alien in the classic continuity, not a part of the original 10.
Viglax is very Dr.Doom this episode, I really wish we got to see more of his childhood in this series to see why he is the way he is.
We do have a bit of lore just not y'know a lot lol. He was exiled from his home planet at a young age. He made a couple mistakes one of those being a black hole. He also fought George Washington. There's more lore but this stuff is mostly inconsequential to know about so basically spoiler free. Bottom line is dudes kinda of a dick....

Seeing how much Ben's transformation sequences creep Eric out, a potential animated Animorphs series with proper body horror transformations would be amazing.
Watching this back, it was sorta dumb of Ben to let Z'Scare posses him, considering that was GhostFreaks plan in the first place in the original series.
Oh, well. At least we got a sick all out brawl between two of Ben's best villains.
Maybe the fact that the omnitrix recalibrated help in stopping full possession

@@Nelsito99I guess that's the only explanation you could reach. But I feel there's flaws in the logic even. But I really feel like Ben had no real way of knowing that, as it was never really explained to him. Not to mention it's still a bit busted from trying to tamper with it. Even with the re-calibration, it could still not be working at full capacity.
@@lilbrownbear I don't think it wouks have worked due to classic showing that the transformation returned but again recalibrated locked pasted aliens
Zs'Skayr demonstrated the ability to convert living creatures into Ectonurite minions, which he had gained sometime after the Original Series.
Also the telekinesis ability, and also somehow forgetting his ability to become intangible 😂
But when the minions are defeated, they disappear. What happened to the victims, lol

I once saw an idea that Alien Force's version of Vilgax might have been better if he was the son of Vilgax instead of Vilgax himself. Obviously we're speaking with the benefit of hindsight but I can't help but feel the same. Vilgax being so drastically different in personality and methods makes more sense if it's his son trying to live up to his father (or at least everything he's heard about him, since I doubt Vilgax would be that close with any child of his) and going after Ben in order to avenge him and prove himself.
Plus Vilgax already knew the secrets of the Omnitrix in the original series, so it doesn't really make much sense he'd try to learn the secrets from Ghostfreak.

This episode was always confusing to me. He frees ghostfreak>let's him take over his planet>goes to earth for ben to come help>takes back his planet just to learn something about the omnitrix?

This ep confuses me to this day, I thought Ghost Freak was dead back during the, space shuttle battle in OG Ben 10. How is he alive and imprisoned? & it was weird to see Ben say "No no no, hold your applause". Good to see Ghost Freak back in the roster of aliens, he was my fav alien in OG Ben 10, which btw during the the end of the ep in the desert landing, the Omnitrix opened by itself showing Ghost Freak was back as an alien in the watch. Whatever happened to these plot points.
Ghostfreak escaped offscreen and possessed a guy named Thaddeus Collins before he was sucked through a portal
I don't think I've seen the beginning of this episode.

Ghost Freak is OP. Hands down one of the best alien transformations of Ben 10 from the old 10 yr old Ben show.
If only Ben could have used Ghost Freak like the original who's DNA the Omnitrix used for Ghost Freak. The big bad they're still fighting to this day that even Vilgax with all his cool powers and technology was still beaten and kicked off his own planet.

Z'scare is pretty damn powerful. Whenever people mention him, they mostly focus on the possession powers and stuff but to go toe to toe with Conqueror Vilgax is very impressive.
Somehow Ghostfreak is out of the Omnitrix...again. Poor Kevin, will he ever go from Undesirable to Undeniable? Ben's plan of infinite BS

what exactly was Bens plan? what does he think he accomplished? Vilgax was happy they merged as it was an opportunity to kill Ben but he fails to kill Ben although we do not see him change his plans so how was he intending to get rid of Ben that he wasnt able to do??. Otherwise , a really good episode with great villain dialogue and fights/

i think it's cause its been a LONG time since we last saw ghostfreak where we were supposed to think he died. so they might've forgotten that and also the reveal was slow so they reacted accordingly
