Landmarks of Langley - 'Within Walking Distance' Poem and Animation

‘Within Walking Distance’ was a project which brought together history, poetry, photography, art and animation to celebrate the unique heritage and culture of Langley, Oldbury.
The project was initiated by the dedicated team that leads the Friends of Langley Library group and was funded by Heritage Lottery Fund and Arts Council England.
Whether you are a long-established resident or new to the area we hope that the poem and animation helps you explore the area’s heritage and reflects the authentic voice of the people of Langley.
