He would be ideal, yeah. PL proven too so would hit the ground running. Wouldn't be insanely expensive too, under 50m IMO as he only has 2 years left in his contract. Could be a Pepe esque signing paid off over x amount of years.
I think Cunha links ticks a lot of boxes. He is in good form this season, he has a contract that runs until 2027 so Wolves will surely start to consider whether to cash him out or give him a new contact. He is also versatile and Wolves did sold a lot of good attackers in recent years(Neto,Nunes,Jota,Jimenez,Gibbs White) so Arsenal being linked with Cunha sounds reasonable.

Dani Olmo's contract situation at Barca is very interesting 🤔. Arsenal should sign him in January. He can play on the right and in the Odegaard position.
Charles, you will not find any of the players you’ve mentioned (Mbappe, Vinicius, Salah and Palmer) defend the way Saka has had to in this Arteta side. Could it be that Saka’s defensive responsibilities need to be lessened too. If not, we cannot be comparing him to these players that you’ll never see defending down their corner flags as we often see Saka do.
Charles what do you think of Mbeumo, I think he’d be the perfect Jan addition for Arsenal even long term, he’s 25 years old, plays all across the frontline, won’t cost the club an arm and a leg and he’s a consistent goal scorer
If Brentford wanted £80mill for Toney how much do you think their price tag would be on Mbeumo? Great player btw think he would be amazing in an Arsenal shirt but not sure how much he would cost
Think I commented about this on one of your other videos a couple of weeks ago. Cunha is a fantastic player, young, top club experience and joined wolves with a point to prove. Can play up front or as an attacking midfielder, and I think if he was join us he would be dying to prove he can really do it at a top club. We need to make this happen.
Hey Charles. I think from Arteta's press conference, we might see Havertz as a right winger rather than a No.8 or Striker next game. Jesus is in good form and Ipswich is a team in the relegation spot so there could be a chance for some experiment while Saka is out. P.S)We should sign Cunha if we can during the winter. He might not be the attacker that would get us over the line but would be a really good addition and option up front. He literally destroyed Man Utd yesterday
Hello Charles, Regarding the linep against Ipswich and your point of using both Haverz and Odegaard behind Leo, Jesus and Gabi to compensate Sakas absence. I get the idea, but it doesn't leave any attacking players to impact the game from the bench bar Nwaneri. Also with the dense schedule we need to rotate to avoid more injuries, so I would try to always leave one of them on the bench and play Merino/Rice as left #8 and get the impact attacking player on, only if needed. Havertz is the one I would leave out tomorrow to benefit from Jesus' form as a #9 so Rice, Merino and Odegaard behind Martinelli on the right, Trossard on the left and Jesus in the middle.
Hi Charles. Although Cunha is a wonderful player who stays calm in the final 3rd. I'd b amazed if Arteta went 4 him after the incident with Ipswich security guard..it gives me Guendouzi vibes..
51min into wolves vs ManU and I can’t Help but watch Cunha like I’m a scout…He’s got something we don’t, that flare that can turn nothing into something i no its goals we need but he could be vital in providing goals in them tight games
I like how versatile we are when Jesus starts, it looked like Martinelli & Jesus had swapped when we got our opening goal against Palace in the league, not too sure that happens if Havertz is up top. Also Havertz goal isn't scored if he isn't playing deeper, no way is Merino or Rice hoping that the ball hits the post
Charles, merry Christmas and great content as always. Have you heard anything on Arsenal going for Leroy Sane ? He has 6months left on his contract and his wife apparently moved back to London.
Hey Charles, your content is always so thoughtful! I hope we get someone in January too, but I still think we won’t. Arda is definitely a good option though!
Martinelli showed some positives during the Crystal Palace game being able to use his right foot, to cross and cut back: I did however notice, that Timber wasn't always able to find Martinelli, as he wasn't always given the option. The overlapping runs dried up until Ethan came on late. The quick passing with Odegaard went missing. And our left side predominated in the absence of Martinelli once Rice and Calafiori came on. I'd still like to see Ethan given some minutes (20-30) to prove himself and give us a comparison on the right. The Ipswich game may be such an opportunity?
One thing that is going to be really important is that JT and Jesus does not get another yellow card in the next two games - because that would result in a one match ban which we just cannot afford. Big up Charles and feel better!
When the club say it will be a reactive not a proactive window, they mean reactive to the market not reactive to internal issues. If a player becomes available unexpectedly who fits into our criteria we will move for them. Basically, were not going to go out of our way to make a short-term focussed signing.
In the past 2 seasons, we NEARLY won the title, but we're quiet around the position by points we're normally in that pass few, with only having Martinelli and Trossard for the next 10 games, I'm not relying on Nwaneri end off, we need to bring in 2 forwards this window, that's how we'll level up our squad, we haven't bought forward since Jesus I believe & not many at all for LONG while...
Some seem to have forgotten that Saka came into the team as left wing back cum full back before being moved further forward as a left winger, proving effective and talented each time. However, it was only when he was switched across to the right in the attempt to raise Pepe from his malaise with a switch to the left, did he become the player of the highest calibre as he is today. Therefore, we cannot be dismissive of a similar outcome befalling Martinelli playing right wing, where he might be better suited to exploit his raw pace and straight line running as well as help improve his passing in not having to cut inside onto his right Nwaneri for me to come in on the left hand side instead of Trossard, we naturally flood midfield and Trossard is also drawn into similar areas rather than being comfortable and productive from out wide. As a left footer with good pace and dribbling ability, Nwaneri offers more from the get go in diminishing the loss of Saka even if that's not his preferred position either.
It's not negligence it's called playing your best squad when it is available which is what happens when you don't have a lot-of-depth in certain positions.
It's so annoying when people overcomplain about Saka playing most games... It's just negative people being childish really. We're talking about top tier english football, not Russia... There arent a lot of zero risk games, so if your best attacker is fit, he plays... And players get injured, that's not news to anyone.
Hi Charles I think Nwaneri could replace Saka to see how he performs then Martinelli could be introduced. I think with Ethan he could rotate like he does in games with Trossard and Martinelli.

Hi Charles, I’ve heard Bradley Barcola a couple of times as the purported winger target for Arsenal this summer. Is there any validity to this? I really like Cunha but Barcola + Isak in the summer would literally be a dream imo and I don’t see how we could get a Sesko/Cunha plus these two targets. Let me know what you think of this. Definitely think we need to do something in Jan but if these are the two main targets I’m not optimistic

No thanks for me on Cunha. Arsenal haven't signed a ceiling raiser in the transfer market since the summer of 23 (we did a great job in that window with DR, JT, KH, and DR 😁). However, our in-comings since have been a problem. Nothing last winter and a very underwhelming summer 24. If you want to win the biggest trophies "solid squad members" aren't going to get us there at this point. So many of the teams around us in the table have improved; just look at how close it is down to 10th. If we shoot for "good enough" then we won't be good enough.
We can't afford to not be busy in Jan.; Most of our targets are also wanted by other clubs, Jan & the summer will be sellers' markets. I expect aggression in January from ManC for obvious reasons, ManU(to support the new gaffer), other clubs like Newcastle, Villa,Chelsea & Spuds* will dabble. Do business early, preferably for impact players.
No way Newcastle sells Isak in January! Delusional. Even in summer we won’t have the funds. £100 million plus price and we’re already in the hole with ffp. As much as I love the way he plays and think he would transform us into a trophy winning team really don’t think it’s realistic
Hi Charles arsenal should go all out for isak,we missed the chance when he was at sociadad, don't refuse cunha is good bt he should be our second option isak first if Newcastle don't sell them move for cunha
Hi Charles I listen to you most days and have been since you started I’d like to start by thanking you for your great content and seasons greetings to you and your family. Please let me know what you think of this… As with you, my first choice would be Isak and the popular opinion is that he absolutely will not be attainable until the summer. However… he wears the number 14 shirt and the only reason he would have chosen that number is because Thierry Henry is his hero. He was probably a gooner growing up so… as long as we agreed his wage demands with his agents and as long as we put a bid in right at the start of January to give Newcastle as much time as possible to find a replacement. It will be £100m or thereabouts but we all know that these are always spread over the length of the contract. We would have to go public through the press but he would also have to kick up a stink and put in a transfer request. Yes it would p off the Newcastle fans but who cares about them in the grand scheme of things?? We are Arsenal, based in the best city in the world, we’re in the champions league so we have the pull. We are a massive club, we need to behave like it. Sorry for the long message but I really want your opinion on this one. Keep up the good work!! Julian from Kilburn London
If we talking Loans go into Bayern Munich test them for Gnabry, Coman or Sane I’m pretty sure one of them would be open to a loan as they aren’t getting much game time.
Hi charles, I think Arsenal should go all out to sign someone big who can make instant impact like nico, oshimhen etc. This season is for taking like Leicester season and we should take advantage of the man city situation. Lets not squander the good work already done and wait for summer to take the so called next step & start all over again.
Cunha is perfect for us versatile quick skillful powerful but most importantly drives with the ball through the centre of the pitch we've been crying out for someone of the ilk of Morgan Rogers so that we are not as predictable ie not always looking for wingers to carry the creative load. This is why Ethan Nwaneri catches the eye it's not just his ability but the fact he's something different and unique to what we have. With a cunha type player this gives us a different dimension to what we have and when teams load up on wide players it would create space centrally for cunha to unlock with a pass or shot from distance and creative interlinks with oddegard cunha can play anywhere across the front three but as we've seen recently is also v good at playing as a cam. I'd take him in a heartbeat and saying he's a good squad player is slightly disrespectful I think he pushes the needle more than that. But even so our first eleven when fit and firing are at the level to compete for a title it's just our bench players that need to be closer to starting eleven level inmo. He would be a great signing. I also want Duran from villa if we are not shopping in top tier ie issak gyokeres then for me Duran is the pick of the bunch in the next tier down for me he's itching for a chance and I can't believe he's not starting at villa I'd love him at Arsenal although I concede it would not be easy convincing Villa to sell
Cunha is a talented player but where would Arsenal play him? He's a creative, attacking midfielder but would he start ahead of Odegaard? He would also stifle the progress of Nwaneri
Will Cunha want to go to a club where he may well have very limited game time given Saka's good injury record and Arteta's reluctance to give Saka games off ? Also, regarding Wolves best player, I think many people might regard Ait-Nouri as their most prized player.
IDK man... We will need 1 CF, 1 Winger, 2 Midfielders (Partey and Jorgi will go), 1 GK and at least 1 Defender (Zinchenko, Tierney and Tomiyasu should go. Maybe even Kiwior) Can we sign 6-7 top players in the summer? It's extremely difficult, right? So why didn't we do anything last summer and why won't we buy anyone in January?
I am old enough to remember the season where Robert Pires was arguably our best player and got a season ending injury then Freddie Ljungberg stepped up with is Red hair and we won the league.
If we have ambitions of winning the title, Saka's injury can't be used as an excuse. Someone has to step up and bridge the gap.

Bryan Mbeumo is a player I would like to see come in
Get it done Arsenal Cunha will improve Arsenal. He’s a Brazilian bergkamp !!!
I'd like to see Cunha... as FAR AWAY from arsenal as possible!
Osimhen in January perhaps? He went off the radar since going to Gala after deadline day.
buy to upgrade, not buy for the sake of building a bench. Alexander Isak or Florian Writz
No way Newcastle sells Isak in January! Delusional. Even in summer we won’t have the funds. £100 million plus price and we’re already in the hole with ffp.
As much as I love the way he plays and think he would transform us into a trophy winning team really don’t think it’s realistic
Compliments of the season
What about completing the signing of Neto permanently from Bournemouth in January thus freeing up a loan space?
Cunha would be great for us, he already knows the brazilians from the national team
My thoughts on Cunha…
If we’re not likely to get him till summer then why the dickens are we talking about him….??
Our problems are immediate….
If we talking Loans go into Bayern Munich test them for Gnabry, Coman or Sane I’m pretty sure one of them would be open to a loan as they aren’t getting much game time.
Hi charles,
I think Arsenal should go all out to sign someone big who can make instant impact like nico, oshimhen etc. This season is for taking like Leicester season and we should take advantage of the man city situation. Lets not squander the good work already done and wait for summer to take the so called next step & start all over again.
Cunha is similar to jota very efficient infront of goal
Cunha is primarily an AM. So will he be rotation with Odegaard or is it possible to for him to play as a CM?
He's a striker
@@NamekianT Really? Everything online is showing that he's an AM
He can play as a striker or wide forward@@fgtrhwu2
Mitoma, Ivan tonny on loan and Eze
It's the Charles wattage PR-ocess show
I really like Cunha, he could be be Jota for us.
Cunha is great for Arsenal
We mustn't cut in all the time. He mustn't be great on his left foot. We'll cross on the right side then cut inside to score on the left with Trossard
IDK man... We will need 1 CF, 1 Winger, 2 Midfielders (Partey and Jorgi will go), 1 GK and at least 1 Defender (Zinchenko, Tierney and Tomiyasu should go. Maybe even Kiwior)
Can we sign 6-7 top players in the summer? It's extremely difficult, right? So why didn't we do anything last summer and why won't we buy anyone in January?
Muani can play across the front line
Mitoma ❤

Timber Sali Gabi LewiSkelly
Partey Rice
Martinelli Odegaard Tross
Jesus
Tractor boys getting blitzed, got that Friday feelin.
COYG 🔴⚪️
I think we start ethan on the right, move martinelli there in the event of subbing ethan and put trossard left
Cunha is a very good alternative, but I prefer Jarrod Bowen.
