Oh man, I was so young when Evolve launched that I never got the chance to play it myself. It always looked so cool to me. I'm happy to have found your channel and to experience that feeling of nostalgia, although I'm sad this game didn't catch on :c

I'd love to see ANY new content come to this game.
Imagine if Queen is focused on spawns too. That would be dope to have a spider army swarm the hunters while webs pin them down.

Watching this makes me wish I could have played this when it originally came out. Such a great concept.
It really was despite it's issues, it had promise.
This used to be a favorite game. When i was 13 i remember my stepmom gave me a copy of the game when i got home from school, i played it every chance I got, eventually i got top 10 in the world for goliath and i remember being so excited to tell my dad and stepmom that. They acted impressed but looking back on it im sure they thought it was a little funny. What a great game it was, never understood the hate or why it shut down, i think if any studio besides 2k made it, it would have lasted a much longer time

This was one of the games on my xbox one back in 2017 when i first purchased it, i tried finding it again and i did but it said they shut down servers, I actually got angry cuz the gameplay was actually fun

How’s evolve on PlayStation? Was looking to see what would be worth the purchase: base version or the “ultimate edition”. I don’t believe all the extra content to be on disc, I think it comes with a code.
I dont think it's worth it unless you really want to. I belive the servers are still up for console but im not too sure about that or the player count.
Any tips on playing monster? This chase simulator is so different to the game I used to enjoy. Last 2 games didn’t even manage to get to stage 2… The game seems completely unfair now and still there are vids like yours…
I would advise you to run some traversal perks into hunger, this will help you get away and eat quickly to stage up safer.

Really weird hearing people's takes on different meta options, because I played back in the most popular Stage 2 era, and the conceptualization is completely different.
Like, you don't get any climbing speed in ANY build, and it makes me shudder, reliving the "Sunny is OP" era before monsters figured it out.
Climbing was lowkey good just overshadowed by other more convenient perks.

If you downloaded it prior on pc you are still able to download it and play but only legacy version since stage 2 is factually dead.

Yes if you get a evolve stage 2 key it also comes with legacy evolve but you can only play Legacy with a thing called rice-fix. Stage 2 is dead.

Why do you not upgrade your perks does it matter cause every game I always upgrade them
Upgrading perks does not work! If you upgrade the perk and take it into the game you lose the perk thus leaving you perkless, instead of 3 perks you'll be running 2 perks.

Why is a Lazarus bad?
He bald
In stage 2 they changed the way his Lazarus device works where now if they die and he revives they still get a knock on their health. In Legacy he would always revive without a knock, so in stage 2 monsters just need to make sure the hunter dies and he's essentially useless.

Not sure how or why this was recommended to me. I think you're in the algorithm lottery right now so make use of it! I do always wonder why this game failed and dead by daylight continues to sucees after all these years. You being a fan of the game, what was the issue with it?
When the game first released it was with a ton of dlc that players hated. The idea of cat and mouse was actually awful since the maps were so big and monster could sneak back then. A lot more reasons but they'd be too long to put into a comment.
