On the afternoon of May 22, 2013, Lee Rigby, a Fusilier in the British army, was walking along Wellington Street, Woolwich, nearby to his artillery barracks, when he was heinously attacked, and murdered by Michael Adebolajo, and Michael Adebowale, using knives and a clever. The perpetrators were Islamic extremists who boldly proclaimed to those who witnessed this macabre event that, their motivation for doing this was to avenge their fellow Muslims who had been killed in military actions in the Middle East. Exactly four years later, on May 22, 2017, at 10:31pm, Salman Abedi, detonated a bomb in the foyer of the Manchester Arena, after a concert by Ariana Grande, murdering 22 people, and wounding 1017 others. Again, the perpetrator was a Muslim fundamentalists, who did this to enact revenge for Muslims killed in military conflicts in the Middle East. On November 29, 2019, 5 people were stabbed to death on London Bridge, by another Islamic terrorist. And on October 15, 2021, the MP, Sir David Amess was knifed to death by another Muslim. This quartet of abominable acts of terrorism, are just a few of the 32 occasions from Atocha, in Madrid, and London on July 7, 2005, all the way through to Sir David Amess’ demise, where Islamic fundamentalists - during the Reign of Terror across Britain and Europe - slaughtered 532 innocent people, and maimed over 3000 maimed. Yet, in spite of the 16 years of barbarism, which was callously inflicted by followers of the Quran, the month of November in Britain is designated to be the Islamophobia Awareness Month. Well, if this isn’t the height of extraordinary insanity whereby, the victims (White-British/Christians) of religious fundamentalism are the ones who have to seek forgiveness from those who inflicted this carnage? Islam proclaims that it is a religion of peace, however the indisputable reality is that it is a religion of intense hatred for non-believers. Further evidence to sustain this incontrovertible truth is proven with 9/11; the Bali Bombings on October 12, 2002, and Easter Sunday, April 21, 2019, in Sri Lanka, when Muslim extremists carried out acts of terrorism. But aside from Islamists butchering people in any of the aforementioned atrocities outside of the Muslim world, between 2000, and 2020, more than 24,000 people macabrely lost their lives at the hands of Islamic fundamentalists across the swathe of Africa, the Middle East, and the Subcontinent. About 85 percent of the deaths stemmed directly from sectarian upheavals between Sunnis and Shiites. Apropos to the latter geographical sphere, on the November 26, 2008, 166 people were slaughtered in Mumbai by Islamic terrorists from Pakistan. However, with regards to a number of countries in the northwest of the African continent, there have been scores of acts of atrociously ghoulish terrorism reinforced in conflicts between Islamic sects. So, taking into account the indubitable reality that, the vast percentage (90%) of all of the terrorist acts that have come to pass in the new millennium can be sourced to Islam, I again enquire as to how it can possibly be that, Britain has an Islamophobia Awareness Month: when it is the adherents of this religion who are the intrinsic aspect of the problem? To exacerbate this dystopian situation further, there are moves in Britain being implemented by the Starmer Labor government to introduce blasphemy laws: and this is being propelled by the 17 members of the British parliament who are adherents to Islam. But when the boot is on the proverbial, ‘other foot’, and this is with specific regards to Brenton Tarrant exterminating 51 people in Mosques in Christchurch, on Aug 23, 2020, NZ’s PM, Jacinda Ardern, spent much of her time in the ensuing few months apologizing to Muslims in the country for his atrocious acts. However, when there were two occasions that Muslims inflicted minor acts of terrorism in Auckland, Ms. Ed never uttered a word of condemnation about this.
