Hi Eddie I started Salsa classes on October last year and I am loving it. I recently found your channel and it is exactly what I needed to up my sortiment. I wanted to ask you for a few tips; how can I practice these routines you are posting without a partner effectively? I usually do shadow moves and when watching the video I can do it exactly but then it's somewhat not memorized as I then forget everything in socials. I think it is because I don't have the feel of a real person when practicing alone? Or does it come with time and I just need to keep practicing by shadowing? Thanks a lot and thanks again for the constant videos

Hello and thanks for your kind words. The key to this and any dance is having a good foundation in your footwork and technique. I do lots of shadow dancing, almost daily. You do however need to attend classes and socials to get regular practice which will help with your foundations. Where are you located my friend?

@@eduardomundo100 hi Eddie thanks for your reply and tips! I will focus on the footwork (1,2,3) and technique more than memorizing moves like you mentioned, but I will still try to shadow one or two of your videos per week. Your channel is gold worth!
Yeah I started lessons in October and go to socials almost every weekend (at least to one event), however here in Germany - at least in my area up north in Bremen - there is more Bachata than Salsa. I can manage Bachata, it is Salsa where I want to learn more. I am originally from Spain but moved here 6 years ago! Best regards!!
