It girl works for me best, and dti works better for other people, that’s great too! @burpyang1526 yea but that doesn't mean she copied DTI, and you gotta remember not all updates came when DTI released. So DTI could still be copying it girl. For example, the recolorable fishnets were in it girl first, the parasol was in DTI first, so it's not one copying the other.
In my opinion i think it girl copied a lot from dti. If you play it girl you can see that a lot of items look a lot like dti's items plus dti came before it girl dti was made in 2023 and it girl was made in 2024. And also the Halloween update for it girl was actually kinda late i have a feeling they waited for dti to finish their Halloween so they possibly copy or take a little bit too much from dti, before making theirs plus dti's Halloween was definitely bigger than it girl's update so since they made a smaller ipdate why would they not finish first in their update if dti literally hade a whole revamp of the map and even added a quest? So i honestly think it girl copied dti like a lot but not like copied the whole game or something.

Dti and It Girl may also have the same items because Dti’s item is from irl clothes, accessories or etc. Dti is also VERY HEAVILY inspired by Fashion Famous, just in a more semi-realistic rather than the nostalgia feeling of Fashion Famous’s. The first time I saw Dti, I really thought it was Rh until I read the tag of the TikTok and tried it out on the summer update. As a Rh addict, Dti is rather even more identical to Rh than it is to It Girl. The model of Dti is also quite familiar to Rh except the model is the default but in Rh you need to buy it. The faces of Dti’s; I also noticed how similar it was to Rh’s. Of course, I never tried It Girl out but the hate people give to It Girl is stupid. All of the games I just mentioned is a dressing up game/fashion game but they’re all unique in their own ways. Rather than saying It Girl copied Dti, why not “Dti copied Rh but Gigi turned it into a fashion game to avoid copyright/to avoid being criticize as Rh’s copycat”? Again, I love both games (Dti and Rh) Sara just got inspiration from Gigi, just like how Gigi got from Fashion Famous (I forgot the developer’s name) and Callmehbob/NightBarbie. it girl and dti differences - it girl is more of a bratz, y2k game, while dti focuses more on realism, for example makeup in it girl is a different art style which does not look realistic and more cutesy, dti's faces are realistic and is a bit different. will write more later
To me It girl features a more rounded, soft face with exaggerated eyes, while dti balances the body more and features a slightly more realistic, serious style. I haven't rlly gotten into it girl, not for any reason other than I dont want to have to learn a whole new map, but i believe they do pull from real fashion trends. It seems kind of boring that they both feature identical items, but no one particularly copied the other. You receiving hate for playing a game is ridiculous I'm sorry you had to go through that

They will call ANY fashion game a copy of dti. The simplest items and they say it's copied. They said it girl copied dti's Advent calender Christmas dress when they obvi did not. The dress is insanely popular and was out b4 dti's one. People only call other games a copy bcuz it's most popular. They don't do that for obbies, so why do it for a FASHION GAME. Just to clear things off a little bit, I had some news that itgirl used to be a developer at dti. But dti fired them, (dont know the reason why) So the developer made this game called itgirl. (The one we are ranting about) So the developers plan was to get more popularity than dti, so they can get more fame. And itgirl started copying dti. Im pretty sure dti and itgirl had a fight, and this will probably be taken to court. Because I heard some news that itgirl sued Dti, so the developers of dti are taking over dti rn. And gigi is taking a break, but its sad to see the dti community fall apart.
Honestly, I wouldn't careless about this situation cuz it's the choice of people, they play what they like better, so as for me I have never tried it girl so I find dti more fun and interesting. I love both games and I don't think it girl copied DTI but it definitely took a lot of inspiration from it. There is one item in particular that DTI has and it girl has the exact same. It was like a bikini and all the details were exactly the same! I understand that most bikinis look the same but down to the folds! If it girl wants to have similar items to dti maybe they should put their own spin two it so people stop harassing them! However, I do love it girl since it reminds me of royale high + LOL dolls a bunch since those were my life when I was younger!

I feel like DTI set a blueprint for like custom modeled clothing and new body types. Sure there's royale high but DTI has a similar gameplay style as fashion famous. Ever since DTI released I feel like more games with that concept has came out. Okay so the clothing in DTI is inspired by in real life clothing pieces. That also goes the same for it girl however the overall style of IT Girl is more Chibi/Bratz themed so the clothing has less detail than DTI. The body types are different but have then same default character. Gray skin and Black top and black shorts. The room design in IT Girl I feel like is more similar to fashion famous. While dress to impress is unique on their own. I don't think their copying it's just more as most new fashion games took the overall idea and took inspiration from DTI.

@burpyang1526 yea but that doesn't mean she copied DTI, and you gotta remember not all updates came when DTI released. So DTI could still be copying it girl. For example, the recolorable fishnets were in it girl first, the parasol was in DTI first, so it's not one copying the other.
In my opinion i think it girl copied a lot from dti. If you play it girl you can see that a lot of items look a lot like dti's items plus dti came before it girl dti was made in 2023 and it girl was made in 2024. And also the Halloween update for it girl was actually kinda late i have a feeling they waited for dti to finish their Halloween so they possibly copy or take a little bit too much from dti, before making theirs plus dti's Halloween was definitely bigger than it girl's update so since they made a smaller ipdate why would they not finish first in their update if dti literally hade a whole revamp of the map and even added a quest? So i honestly think it girl copied dti like a lot but not like copied the whole game or something.

“Dti copy” yet some of Dti items are obviously inspired by RH’s (the new ‘halo’ in the winter update and etc. no hate to Dti tho, I love Dti, just pointing out how weird those people sounds..) Dti and It Girl may also have the same items because Dti’s item is from irl clothes, accessories or etc. Dti is also VERY HEAVILY inspired by Fashion Famous, just in a more semi-realistic rather than the nostalgia feeling of Fashion Famous’s.
The first time I saw Dti, I really thought it was Rh until I read the tag of the TikTok and tried it out on the summer update. As a Rh addict, Dti is rather even more identical to Rh than it is to It Girl. The model of Dti is also quite familiar to Rh except the model is the default but in Rh you need to buy it. The faces of Dti’s; I also noticed how similar it was to Rh’s. Of course, I never tried It Girl out but the hate people give to It Girl is stupid.
All of the games I just mentioned is a dressing up game/fashion game but they’re all unique in their own ways.
Rather than saying It Girl copied Dti, why not “Dti copied Rh but Gigi turned it into a fashion game to avoid copyright/to avoid being criticize as Rh’s copycat”? Again, I love both games (Dti and Rh)

I love both games and I don't think it girl copied DTI but it definitely took a lot of inspiration from it. There is one item in particular that DTI has and it girl has the exact same. Hi!! Please don't hate me for my opinion but I've played both regularly too, but the owner of it girl was/is bullying and absolutely terrific to Gigi after she apologized? Gigi is getting hate too cause people are saying that it girl is better, many videos on these platforms have said death threats to both owners but mainly gigi? Also some of the items in dti, are fully created by the devs and the inception of them, Th owner of It girl had copied some of those ideas and nobody talks about it so in my opinion, I think it girl is really copying dress to impress. I feel like DTI set a blueprint for like custom modeled clothing and new body types. Sure there's royale high but DTI has a similar gameplay style as fashion famous. Ever since DTI released I feel like more games with that concept has came out. Okay so the clothing in DTI is inspired by in real life clothing pieces. That also goes the same for it girl however the overall style of IT Girl is more Chibi/Bratz themed so the clothing has less detail than DTI. The body types are different but have then same default character. Gray skin and Black top and black shorts. The room design in IT Girl I feel like is more similar to fashion famous. While dress to impress is unique on their own. I don't think their copying it's just more as most new fashion games took the overall idea and took inspiration from DTI.

Yes, Sara and Gigi don't really like each other but that's because Gigi made some really gross jokes about Sara, said she wanted to accuse her of really awful things, and didn't even apologize until people found out. (Sara did make some not so nice comments about DTI but the only evidence is that she said the afro hairs were ugly. On the other hand, Gigi herself admitted to making gross jokes and there were also leaked Discord conversations of her being fatphobic). I don't really play It girl but it isn't a copy. The games have a two month beta/alpha release gap which means they were in development at around the same time, and coming from someone who's tried to make roblox games before, you can't create a game with individual models, gui, complete scripting, custom body types etc. in only two months...
I completely agree with your opinion. Nether games copied each other and I personally think Gigi had no right to go after It girl.
