Jeep CJ and YJ Wrangler Audio Upgrades

I built my CJ-7 to be a daily driver, so it must have a modern-ish audio system that can clearly be heard at speed with the top and doors off.
I used a Sony marine head unit, speakers in the dash, front kick panels, rear sound wedges and a center console w/ 8in sub all driven by a 5ch amp.

Nice video as I am doing a similar install on a CJ. I wonder if those front speakers will be prone to damage due to their location right under the sill?

1 year and 13k miles later, the dash speakers are performing very well. Helps that they are "Marine Rated"

Hey Russell. You have 6 speakers and the sub?. Did you use the same 5 1/4 speakers in the dash as the side speakers in the mod pods?

In the dash i used a set of Rockford Fosgate speakers I had laying around. They have a slightly lower sensitivity (83 vs 92) than the polk

Hey my car looks juat like this, same color and everything except details are black instead of crome, cj7 78, i want to install roll bars from the stock cage to the top of the windshield, how can i do that doni have to drill the windshield frame?
