I wish she would. You can see by its body language it isn't happy. Just because its momma is laughing doesn't mean kitty is happy. Real smart, training a beautiful feline to literally attack you and hit you hard. My house cats will do the same thing if i piss them off, some sooner some later but Jesus to laugh about it and keep it up over and over. Cats don't like to be teased or fucked with. I try to always be nice in comments but it's really smart to be screwing with a cat that can bite a bit harder than a house cat. Beautiful feline though. Very healthy
Guys, chill out. This cat is playing. Notice how the ears aren't pinned back and the cat isn't making any threatening noises (or any noises at all, for that matter). My little domesticated cat plays with me just like this (and probably more aggressively, if anything). This cat is just bigger. Just sit back and enjoy the cuteness. Yes, servals are wild animals (as opposed to the hybrid savannahs), but domesticated servals have been raised in captivity since the 1960s--this animal was not taken from the wild; it was raised by humans its entire life. So long as the owner is responsible and loving, has adequate resources, and knows what it means to own such a cat, I see nothing wrong with it. (That being said, I do strongly believe servals aren't meant for everybody, as the average person does NOT have adequate resources to own a serval.)
I would never look a Serval straight in the eye even if it is my puppy because for him it is equivalent to challenging him in combat and therefore he could get angry very very seriously, I believe that he must be treated with firmness and a strong pulse but with respect. Beautiful cat, wonderful compliments 😻

It's the primal instinct. Interesting how even small domesticated cats always try to go for the lower part of the spine (just on top of the hips) or when they get in close, they go for the windpipe. Clearly this cat is playing but that's how cats learn.
Hopefully I will have one later in life. Learning all I can off my Bengals right now lol. This breed is just beautiful and raised right make great companions. I have a similar thing happen with my arctic fox. he was playing running in and out of his cage and got his foot caught. I didn't think twice about saving him and he bit me since he was in pain and didnt know i was trying to help. Any animal can do that though when scared and trapped, in pain. His teeth went completely through my wrist and I passed out for a few minutes from the pain. But I was fine and so was he within 20 minutes when we all calmed down.
I don’t blame it - how would you behave if someone kept telling you “I smell pissy feet” - it’s been in the litter box!! 😂😂🤣🤣 Note the typical predatory instinct to go for the back of the neck - in the wild, cats usually kill their prey by biting through the cervical spine.
Some people over-analyze things way too much, part of cats' playful behavior is simulating fights and simulating aggressive behavior and cats like to simulate fights as much as any other social mammals. The fact that the cat rolled around on the floor after the last jump shows that he was just in a playful mood and didn't take it seriously.
I continue to watch this vid and it always makes me laugh. The poor cat knows its master wants to play and respect her despite the teasing it doesn't fully understand. Great cat, and extremely expensive.
