Wonderful video. I had the pleasure of meeting Mr Brechin and having lunch with him. So nice. It was something I’ll never forget. Keep up the great work!
That was really awesome of Mr Brechin to send that prototype Desert Rat to you !!!! Hope you get over covid asap. I had it back in 2022 and it was rough, took me 3 weeks to get over it. Continue to Stay Positive and to Be Awesome !!!
'It's in a good home' Got that absolutely right , Bob. Well done. Tony you're a custodian of toy history, a history that means so much to so many of us who lived, collected and played during those magical bygone days....
WOW, what a wonderful gift from Bob. I feel bad that my time with Action Force was brief (probably less than six months during 1984), but what an amazing toy line it was.
This one deserves 2 thumbs up Tony. Well done getting the video out and well done to both gentlemen for their generosity. Hoping to order a copy of Bob's book and send to my family in Scotland so I can pick it up when I visit from Canada in the fall. I grew up a Palitoy junkie in Edinburgh 72-81.
That is absolutely awesome Tony you deserve and earned that for everything you do for the action figure space and just being a genuine human being and not being fake and thank you for your service
That prototype is the reason why toys from the 70s and 80s were awesome. You, sir ,have hit the jackpot with both of those parcels. Well deserved indeed. Feel better soon and continued success. 👍
Yet again another great video Tony. Such a fantastic and humbling reaction to see from you ref Bob’s donation. Great to see what you have donated to charity as well. Get well soon my friend and keep up the great work.
What a fantastic piece of toy history you’ve got in your possession Tony, & a privilege to own that will be with u forever so greatfull that you could share it with all of us , what a gesture from the man himself Bob Brechin awesome,if that doesn’t cure you’re COVID nothing will get well Desert Rat , a real historic unboxing 👌
Probably a bit late saying this. But I believe that Batmobile in shield mode was by a company called Eaglemoss. Who produced a long line of all movie, tv and comic versions. These were sold a with a magazine, detailing schematics and history of that particular Batmobile and were released every fortnight, either in News Agents stores, or simply being a subscriber that saw two delivered to your house each month. Volume one I should mention was the 1989 Batman movie version. Being a subscriber, entitled you to free gifts, such as a replica of the 60s TV Batmobile license plate, that particular Batmobile you received. And also the Batwing. I used to collect them but cancelled my substitution, as it was getting too expensive.
Super AMAZING reveals from a most generous community Tony. Thank you for sharing. My absolute favorites were the beautiful HULK photos and the OG Action Force Dessert Rat. I think Mr. Breaken is a fantastic gentleman. I also think he’s telling you something…Dessert Rat.
Very cool signed photo of Julian Glover/Donovan! He was at a Dragon Con, and he was one the most genuine and nicest people that I have met. My wife and kids were with me, and he wanted to meet them and get their names too. We had a great 5-7 minute chat. Lovely guy! Oh, got a General Veers photo signed by him. Amazing gift from Bob Brechin too! Hope you make a full recovery from Covid!
That's an eaglemoss batmobile, they are awesome, very well detailed they made a lot of different versions of the batmobile over movies, comics, and tv shows, I have a bunch of them. Feel better Tony, awesome unboxing!! That desert rat figure is awesome Bob is the Best , great hand writing as well. Thank you Bob for all you've done for the toy industry.
Fantastic collection you've received Tony! The Batmobile looks like it was part of the Eaglemoss fortnightly collection, which was released around 2012. There were 85 models and 7 specials, I think that's one of the specials as Keatons standard Batmobile was the very first model issued.
Now that is an unboxing video. Incroyable Evander - les cadieux ont superbes. Evander's unboxing was an episode onto itself. Then Bob's unboxing was enough to chase those parasites infecting you away. Bob's one-of-a-kind gift is truly a piece of history. Tony - I hope you get better in time for the 3POA show this weekend.
I love The Incredible Hulk with Bill Bixby & Lou Ferrigno! I was young when I watched it but something about it just screamed "good stuff." It was that & Lost In Space after school on Sci-Fi in between Twilight Zone marathons.
Always interesting top see how different countries treat and disseminate the same properties. Sometimes, if not many, treat them better than the US originals. Good to know you're on the mend.
The Doctor Strange is the pilot for a CBS series that didn't get picked up, I have a copy having previously seen it hosted on RUclips, not sure it's ever had a legitimate release.
The Batmobile i think is an eaglemoss model, and they normally come with a magazine that explains the ins and outs of the vehicle. If that one didn't then I believe it's a limited subscription gift they offered for free. Eaglemoss models are nice but I'm someone who collects only what I really want due to lack of space and sometimes funds, so I didn't get their subscription.
Mate, what great stuff from Evander, that Corvette is ace! And WOW and DAMN!! That DR figure is just a beautiful thing to have. Bob is a legend. Thanks for the video mate.
I do believe that Doctor Strange is the 1978 made for TV film (I think it was meant as a pilot). Netter is going to be doing a watch party of it in a few weeks.
Normally, I would say, why aren't you wearing gloves to handle that piece of history? but I probably wouldn't be able to resist touching it with my bare hands myself.Great unboxing sir.
bon video de deballage mon ami he, Canadien Francais, au cas ou tu saurais pas, ha, ha. hey, great pieces bro, the corvette, ouh, I would have liked this one please compare it to the vamp size wise bro and I can t wait to see this A - team video did you know that Benny Hill did a hilarious A - team video? you have to see that bro, it s enough to crack you up, D ohh, and that prototype! well, no one can beat this one now hein? holly grail indeed! news I just bought my 1 rst action force fig 2 days ago a dark blue republic female guard you were right, they re good, I love her. so now you know... good show bro
WOW. Bob will always be a Knight of the Realm. What a Legend ⚡️
This is what a toy community should be like not that bullshit drama we have to deal with. These toys should bring us together to play.
So very true 😻
Wonderful video. I had the pleasure of meeting Mr Brechin and having lunch with him. So nice. It was something I’ll never forget. Keep up the great work!

There was a collection in the UK of Batmobiles a good few years ago. I picked up a couple of them.
One of the best toy channels on youtube.

Can you go throw a chokehold on Vala to get him to do another run of Desert Rat for all of us that didn't get one?
