To be fair one is fixable, the other isn't.
There is command block in Minecraft when you can enter a command in block to spawn a super creeper with just a press a button. You don't need thousands of super creepers there to lag server.
They hired matt to make maps, doesn't mean he knows how to make them correctly or efficiently lol.
However I'm impressed with the ingenuity

I think creeper soccer was the first video i had ever heard of Lindsay in. She was the penguin skin and just silently filmed the whole thing, except when gavin(i think?) climbed up to her and punched her off the tower😂 so glad to see her so many years later being such a great addition/personality in the group. Love your chaotic soul so much lindsay💗

That explains why by the end of the video the creepers kept choosing Jack and Lindsay to aggro onto: they were the only ones not wearing the creeper heads.

Matt the design of this was absolutely amazing, keep doing things your way but maybe look into command blocks, you'd reach your vision a lot faster and you'd be able to do even more amazing things :D

Lol by the end of the vid, 2 on each team are wearing creeper disguises. So only Lindsay and Jack can attract them xDD
Try out these commands next time:
/sethome
/invsee
Sethome does the same as a bed, just in command form. Invsee lets you interact with players inventory (could put chicken directly into their inventory if you wish).
There are other commands too, like /kit, but that needs more preparations.
You need to define different kits in the config files, then ingame the player can ask for whatever kit they have available to them.
Could have a kit for more food, more snowballs, or just a kit for the starter set of stuff you need to play creepersoccer. In other words no need for the chests, and no way of stealing from eachothers chests.
The commands listed here might work, or they might not. It all depends on the mod setup you are currently running.

This is the best remix of a classic lets play in the past few years
The reason the creepers mainly went after Michael is because usually he was closer when they came down, also the fact of Jeremy and Ryan were wearing creeper heads -Geoff also put one on near the end-, if you wear the head of a mob it makes it harder for them to "see" you, wiki says it lowers their detection range of that player by 50%, so even if the people with creeper heads were closer the creepers would probably still detect michael first, and mobs usually hunt the first thing they see until that thing dies, they lose sight of it, or something else actually hurts them.
