Australian users should set the Band to ''DE'', because Deutschland (Germany) uses the same 27 mhz CB frequencies that Australia uses. (Note that there are TEN different bands to choose from).... My radio was delivered already set to ''DE'' so I didn't have to change anything.
My intention is to use this as part of a disaster communication plan. Currently, I have been able to run this on a 12 volt 3 amp battery. I would like to see if I could run this off of a 12 volt 1.2 amp solar panel. What is the power consumption in watt hours.
My model has a plug in mike not a 4 pin. The question is if I hold the RFG button a P or E appear, I understand this could be a .005 offset. Is this feature enabled on this radio. If I hear traffic on the .005 frequencies and then shift to P the traffic stops. So I think this is enabled but need to make sure.
My anysec cb40m has buzzing noise in receive even though it's connected to Astron Power supply running on base antenna. My other radios noise blanker eliminates this. Does the smart cb have noise blanker? If so where is it?

@@infoanysecu9184 8 watts high power, 4 watts on low power. The radio came delivered on low power (4 watts). In order to get high power (8 watts), you have to do the following ''acrobatic trick''. 1. Switch the radio off. 2. Press and hold the ''RFG'' button. 3. Whilst holding the ''RFG'' button, press the Push to Talk button on the microphone. 4. Switch the radio ON, and then release the two buttons. 5.''PL'' will be displayed on the screen. To go to high power, press the UP button on the microphone, and ''PH'' will be displayed (Power High - 8 watts). 6. Switch the radio OFF and ON again, and a small ''H'' will be seen on the screen, meaning you are now on high power.
It is not FCC Type Accepted. It is considered an "Export" radio and not "Legal" for use in the US! The US cousin to this radio is the CB-27 which is an AM only, 4 watt, 40 channel model that looks like it but has a modular mic plug. I have the CB-27 and it is a neat little radio once you get used to the way it operates. The A/F button just turns the scan function on and off. The CB-27 uses a different board than the one the CB-40 uses. It is small enough to almost fit in your shirt pocket and when I tested it on the bench, it was putting out 3.75 watts and was right on frequency on the counter. The wave form on the scope was near perfect with no out of band artifacts. Modulation is close to 90%. On the air I got great reports on both signal and modulation It out performed my Cobra 25 LTD Classic in both areas on the same antenna (1/2 wave horizontal dipole). It makes a nice AM only rig for emergency use, camping or hiking as it only weight about 4 ounces without the mic (which is almost as big as the radio). I did cut the power cord and added some 15 Amp Anderson Power Poles so that the cord can be removed without having to disconnect it from the power source. I also removed the cigarette light plug and installed 1/4" push-on connectors to make it easier to connect to a small scooter battery (a 12VDC, 9 Amp battery seems to lasts forever on this little rig).
Never mind found the manual (posted below) gave all the information needed.

Have you heard any 27mhz FM signals in Australia?
I've just bought one but it's a few weeks away yet.

fajna zabawka tylko ma duży minus nie posiada zmiany czenstotliwości z 5 na 0
My zabawka has polish/russian standard 0-10-20-etc. I wish to have 5-15-25 instead here in Estonia. Exchange? :)
Hello, I found solution. Hold RFG key until blinking P or E appears. P means 0-10-20 etc, E - 5-15-25 and so on. So, you need P
Hola puedo coneptar una fuente de alimentacion. 13.8 a 5 o 7 amperes gracias
12V is recommended, and 13.8V can also be used
Parameter for your reference
